Kaytee - I cried for weeks at the thought of going back to work and DS going into care for a few days, I found it really hard.

However, the whole experience ended up being so much easier than I thought. Luckily I had access to a great Child Care Centre and the communication and care has just been fabulous. ALL the carers in our centre know DS even though he only goes 2 days and has only been in two of the rooms now, its a smaller centre and just has a great 'feel' about it. DS had been accepted into a bigger, more modern centre, but I chose the centre based on the people rather than the facilities as I didn't really think my baby would be too fussed how newer everything was but it was important to me that the carers and I were on the same page.

After a rocking first few weeks as DS adjusted, he has since thrived and loves his 'friends' and always talks about seeing his 'kids' at CC.

Good luck, pack plenty of tissues for the first few days (for you!!) xx

Yep, I sure will be bringing the tissues!! I talked to DH about it, and we're going to call the local centre and the FDC early next week and make a time to go have a look through both. I still get upset thinking about her spending so much time with someone else, but I know I need to go back to work and I know she's most likely going to be fine - it's just me that needs to get used to it lol.

    Thanks everyone
