On the brighter side, I saw a report somewhere on telly recently that although children do get sick in childcare, those that have been in cc tend to not get sick once they are at school because they have built their immunity up and that it is more benefical then as they aren;t missing school.
I can believe this. I've always exposed my kids to other kids who are sick (not through child care, but friends etc). Result, 2 kids in school who are almost never sick.
