This is DD's fifth week at daycare now. She goes Wednesday and Thursday with her brother although he is at the opposite end in the Kindy room.

She loves it, is keen to go, is settling in really well, is interacting well with the other kids, is always happy when I go to pick her up and shows me everything she has done for the day. I know she is happy there BUT she cries every morning when I leave her
I hand her over to her teacher and she screams and cries while I walk away, I hide in her room and watch her and it is only ever a few minutes at the most before she stops crying.
I ring when I get home to make sure she hasnt started up again and she is always happy and playing but I hate the drop off tears.
This morning I took her to her room first before Scout and she lost the plot when we left. Clearly she thought Scout was coming home with me but by the time I got to his class and looked down to her end of the playground she was happily playing in the sandpit!

None of the boys ever did this kind of thing and it is really pulling at my heart strings. I know it is for my benefit and to make me feel bad because she is so happy once im out of sight, and the teachers have all told me that she is fitting in really well and that they dont think its fair to "lie" to me if they thought she wasnt ready.

Arrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh do they stop?? Please tell me it will be soon
