Advice on handling potential dairy/soy intolerance in second baby
Hi,
My DS had a milk protein and soy intolerance when he was little. He grew out of it by about 1-1.5 years old.
I also had a dairy intolerance when I was a baby and my Dad still has one.
I've heard that if one of your children has an intolerance it's reasonably likely that other children will.
So I'm wondering what to do with our next one due in October.
Obviously we'll be more aware of the issue and better able to diagnose it, so I could just continue eating as normal and then cut out dairy and soy if I suspect something.
But I'm thinking maybe it would be better to cut out all dairy and soy a month or so before my due date and then test them out individually when bubs is a month or two old and we've gotten to know each other better and gotten through the really early newborn stage.
