Clicking noise in 9 month olds hip

Hi All,

Recently I've notices that DD's hip clicks when she is kicking her legs. I mainly notice it when she is feeding and she is kicking her legs out to the side. I some times hear it when she is having her nappy changed. I went to the MCHN yesterday and she told me to get a doctor to check it out.

What would they be looking for?

I would get it looked at asap. It might not be anything but if it is it can be fixed before she is much older. If you are not happy with what the Dr tells you ask for a referral.

No doubt someone who has had a child with this problem will be able to give you the advise you need.
