Cold treatment for baby??

A humidifier is great, even just with water in it.
A bit of vicks or vicks baby balm rubbed onto singlet has worked for me.
When my DD1 picked up a cold from freshly immunised cousin I actually gave her a quarter dose of Brauer Cough Relief.

How old was she when you gave her this?

She was tiny (not sure of exact age but if you know when immunisations are given that will give you an idea as her cousins are same age but I don't do immunisations) but until she was 1 year I gave her a half mL at a time. You give it every half hour for 4 doses then every 4 hours after that.

If you have any concerns with your bubs flu, please get the hospital to check him out, especially with being so young. My little V was in ICU for a week due to catching the flu, turning into broncholitis within a matter of a day.
I dont want to worry you, but after seeing my little V go thru something that almost killed her and seeing all those other tiny babies in ICU going thru similar repiritory problems was a real eye opener for me.

I'm having the same problem with ds atm too *sigh* Snot-noses all round the family actually - fun

I started ds this morning on some medication that our local pharmacy mix. It's a pain relief (like Panadol) mixed with stuff for blocked and runny noses. Works a charm for dd, so I hope it works for him too.

And I love that vapour capsules that you snip open and empty on the pillow that opens their noses.
