I always take my DS to get checked as he is prone to ear infections. That being said it's probably a virus and there isn't much they can do.

I hope she comes good tomorrow.

Get her checked out cos chest infections can cause nause and vomiting and since. She was coughing could be the cause. Poor little thing hopefully she is feeling better soon. Don't over do the panadol try to only give when her temp is 39.

I rang the gp this morning as they are supposed to bs open on Sunday's but they gave us another number to ring and a gp came to our house! She thinks dd might be getting a chest infection so gave us some antibiotics and told us to alternate between panadol and nurofen if the temp is over 38 which it has been since Friday night. So we are off to get the script filled. Dd is very very tired and just wants to sit and do nothing. Not play, not talk just sit on dh lap and look at him. It's so horrible but she's never been like this before so he is enjoying the cuddles whilst I look on with jealousy. She doesn't want me for anything except water and butter toast.

Take the time to rest up yourself! Tomorrow, it might be a mummy day.

My LO is just getting over a similar thing, yesterday she came up with a rash all over her tummy and face so we headed back to drs. He said that it is common in littlies after a big fever (she had high temps from Mon night to Fri) to get a rash, but it alsom means they are on the mend. She has had a good breaky this morning, but is still cranky and wants lots o cuddles.

Hope the antibiotics kick in quick.

Oh poor X, and poor you too
You are doing all the right things... panadol/nurofen/panadol, water, no clothes... these things don't usually last more than a couple of days so I hope it is tailing off now.
Gosh must be the last thing you need right now, massive hugs xx

Thanks everyone. I feel SO much better after seeing the gp. Dd is in bed sleeping again right now so I'll take your advice and rest I've been doing jobs all morning while dh has cuddled her to try and distract myself from her pain but you're right-it's rest time
