    The main nappy cream when I had my girls in nappies was zinc & castor oil which you can buy at the supermarket or chemist. I found it really worked and they hardly had a rash apaart from teething time.

    My MIL said she had used egg white. I think she beat it a bit then placed it on the bottom. Another thought is to make a paste using bicarb.

    If it is sunny give her nappy free time in the sun to help dry it up.

    When you change her nappy wash with either salt water or betadine and keep this up for the next week so it really heals.

    Thankyou again for your comments.

    She is currenlty having nappy free time and the chemist is getting in zinc & castor oil cream which will arrive by midday.

    It just seems that it is almost cleared and then it flares up again. that the Z&CO works, it seems like the only thing I haven't tried!

    maybe also get her onto some kids probiotics to help her gut flora which inturn may help her poos
