mmm so DD still has these lumps, shes been infection free for 3 weeks now and fluid free for 2 (confirmed both last week and again yesterday) so why are they still swollen, should i take her back to the dr, or wait longer?
Bella has a few in her neck to and they are bigger when she is sick but they are generally always there, I took her to the Dr about them and she said thats what they are and they may always be there or they may come and go - but if you are concerned then off to the Dr's for your peace of mind.
Did she have her surgery yesterday? If yes, get her checked out. It won't be a complication from a tonsilectomy but you don't want her to have too much going on all at once.
sorry - confusing another thread. Since she had the surgery yesterday (how did it go by the way?) I'd get it checked out. It won;t be a compication from the surgery but we don't want too many things going on at once and I would want to rule out infection since that is the side she normally gets them. The lumps are likely to just be the body's natural response to everything going on - the cold, the surgery. Has she had these lumps before?
MG ive never noticed them before i might wait a week or so then take her back to the dr.....sigh..
yesterday went well, i couldnt go in with her, the anesthestist came and got her himself lovely man, she snuggles into his neck and off they went! she woke pretty crabby and flushed but boobie fixed all that, she came good after about an hour, is a little crabby today though
