I know how you feel, my eldest had one on his bottom lip. I was always getting questions about it. We were referred to a specialist at the Childrens because it involved his mouth. It was a large red lump at the time and we were advised to leave it, if it hadn't disappeared by the time he was 3 we could go back and have it removed, simply because it was really obvious. I remember how worried I was, especially with the not knowing how big it was going to get.
By the time he was a year old it had definitely stopped growing but was still red. By the time he was 18 months old the redness was starting to fade.
He is now almost 4 years old and while he still has a slight lump, the redness is completely gone, it's the same colour as his lip so it's not noticeable.
