I want a cake for my sons first birthday/baptism/dedication/god loves you party.
I want to incorporate christian/pagan/birthday and homebirth in one picture! Help!

We're having a non-denominational, the universe loves you, you are hope, god is good type ceremony coupled with Evan's first birthday party. He was born at home after about 90 minutes of labor, with just his dad and I in the bathroom. I was on all fours while he held the shower head on my back. The midwife got there just after the head was out. I'd like to incorporate the homebirth in his blessing/birthday cake and I have a bakery that can do basically anything I want on the cake... ideas?

I do have a small business but I am not taking anymore orders until February when I think I might try the belly belly market place

Ah i havent baked a cake in ages lol but for Ashley first i got someone to make his and for his name day....yummo

Mysticmomma, have you got any photos from the birth etc? Maybe you could make a collage of photos & get the bakery to make a big square cake with the collage on top? you can either print it out & laminate it or some bakeries can print it onto edible rice paper stuff.

BM- I really am not a very creative person and just used the Womens Weekly books, plus I have a local cake shop that are very helpfu and hire out tins etc so it doesn't cost a huge amount! Have fun!!
