AJp - the nappy bucket has a lid.
What he was complaining about was i put them in the washing machine last night (lid down) to start this morning when DD woke up and he could smell it.!
Well we leaked again this time....
we had both BBB boosters in the BBB plus the trifold on the outside and her singlet was wet . The wool cover not smelly or wet though
Do you think that maybe the nappy isnt tight enough? and it is leaking out the top? or just too low?
Mel you've still got ages up your sleeve before you have to worry about being induced. I know it will be there in the back of your mind though. I went 8 days over (almost 9 cos he was born just after 11pm) and I was beginning to worry.
I've photographed 2 births that were inductions at 14 past EDD and all they needed was the waters broken so make sure you demand they give you time to see if it will happen before they start with gels or drip.
PP is she a tummy sleeper? C was and i had to boost up to his belly button and also upsize the covers to large.
I'm rooly lazy ATM and i throw the nappy into the trough for scraping later so my laundry can be a bit whiffy. Mind you it really smells like roses now that the cat has ben banished to outside for his buisness. He's not a kitten anymore and cleaning the litter tray was making me ill.
My internet seems to have mysteriously sped up...I'm not complaining, and if it's an Optus error, then SHHH don't tell them! :P
Ohhh Maz, we'll help you shop!! What nappy haven't you tried that you always wanted to? Do you need some more longies? Or...could you go for a wander on Etsy...that's dangerous I know...
Never mind about your DH PP. Even sposies stink, I hate the way they make the bin smell! Maybe just buy your dh some air freshener to spray about if he's dealing with the washing. (Or a gas mask, if your bub is teething.) I know BumGenius sell a deodoriser of sorts to kill the bacteria that create the bad smell, but I never found out if it works. Does anyone know?
PP, what Sammi said about tummy sleepers. Was there pants over the cover? I find if we put pants over a wool cover the clothes get damp...you don't think the singlet accidentally got tucked underneath the cover?
Mel (Gudi). You must be so frustrated but I bet you're doing awesomely. Are you going to get any more acupuncture done?
I went to Spotlight yesterday! Got some variagated thread for overlocking, and a doona cover for Riv, he's too long for his cot blankets now, so he got a doona. He still sleeps next to his door on the floor, he looks under the door at feet going past until he falls asleep. I tried to sneak in last night to pop him back in his bed but I couldn't open the door!
Is anyone tempted just to buy a helmet for their climbing toddlers and then just leave them to their own devices? I can't count how many times I've hauled Riv off the dining table, I just pulled him off the entertainment unit...he climbs them saying 'uh ohhh'. Aieeeeeee *screeches like banshee* Ah and while I wrote that last sentence he climbed onto the table again.
nelle i found sophie on the table last week!!scary stuff!!
MAZ no bucket this time!! i did buy some sick bags like they use in hospital but havnet used them yet!! chucked the other night!
mmmm nappy buying what do you think you need?
