I actually ordered 3 OSFM pockets off ebay over the weekend. 3 for $30, be interesting to see if they are any good. Oh that reminds me, I also need topay for a B4B win. God, I don't need to BUY more nappies! I have a heap of bamboo here to make them! What am I doing! I also have 3 nappies cut & ready to sew, but 2 of the Oh so GIRLY ones are not for me. HEHEHEHE

Morning all :)
Well, finally got hte Bump down to sleep after another hour :( Just one of those nights last night, nothing actually wrong with her of course....but she had been in a mood allllll day yesterday! Nothing was good enough and didn't want to do or not do anything iykwim! :( Fingers crossed to day is better!
So she was actually fairly settled last night once she went to sleep....woke up ar 5.30 this morning though, so came to be with me for a feed and snuggles :) Then woek up at 8.20 and decided it was awake time! (about and hour early for her) So here we are!! lol
And it is bucketing down outside again today....hot choccy morning....and nappy inserts in the dryer day...The only sunshine we have had in teh last week was the day after I finally gave in and washied the mass pile of nappies!! lol Always the way.
Anyway....
Have we heard how Sal is going??

Just a quick one from me this morning, It is so cold and miserable here today.....I have my nappies in the dryer. Have 4 sick kids home aswell and DH worked til 7 thismorning so he is asleep but I was up all night and Cooper just wont sleep today, Not doing any housework either. Had DD 13th birthday party on Saturday oh and DH brought me my present for my Birthday on the 2nd.....A CAR not a brand new one but my mum is selling her Hyndi Exel so he is buying it for me.

well I have just ordered Water, wish this cold windy drisly weather would actually just RAIN & fill my tank!
Nappy meet up in September.... DH tells me today that he arranged to have the Friday & Monday of that weekend off. Now my delamer is, can we afford to go all the way to Melbourne or just head to the ACT & do family ****?
I need information on places to stay etc, we need to be able to do it it cheap, if we are going to make it at all....

Fj - sometimes it is just easier to buy them! HOw are your prefold sewing going. I have finished 20 flannel/microfibre prefolds and have set them up in the nappy hanger!! yay... I still have a few metres of cotton material... thinking about sewing more but tired of sewing lol.. so packing the machine up into the cupboard today.
Gigi - big hugs darling! I really really appreciate your advice... i have never known someone that knows so much about MCN's as you do! And sometimes it is hard in this electronic age to gauge emotion and expression (i think it is the worst problem with emails and chats).. as people unfortunately get upset when there is no problem to start with. So i just wanted to you have a big :hug: from me :)
As for our capers.
I have been using less bulk in my bbb at night. Have the small and long (doubled) booster and hiding a itii bitti medium hemp trifold underneath the two inside the nappy. This has been allowing me to fit the cover just over the rise now and the nappies are TOTALLLY soaked but no leaks...
I have been getting advice direct from BBH and hopefully get more ideas today in response to our emails which is good.
I have ordered 1 x llamajama longie and waiting for that to arrive to see if it makes a difference :)
Also waiting for my spiky mail (snappi's) for me prefolds. Got 12 on ebay for $8,50 posted
WOHB - BBB + PUL
PP.....just a viral infection, have been alternating the nurofen and panadol as well as dimetap. Gabby's party was good (20 13 yr old in the lounge doing karoke) gave us a huge headache, all the others have sore throats and headaches so are in bed, just wish cooper would go down I am so tired.
Coopers nappy is soaked every morning but if I use the larger cover they dont leak. I also had a look and cant find the Minkees, am about to phone to pay off my layby so might ask when I am on the phone.

Jol's - they are fairly thin..Id say a 4ply and apparently they are machine knitted...hmmmmm
SNAp ness - i thought mine were thin compared to the other longies Ive got from WAHM's.

I think Kozy's are marketed as 8 ply, but I thinkits a thin 8 ply. I also read they are machine knitt but then read the other day that they are made by a group of women in china. I don't know or care butt heya re super cute :)

hmm Maz im just comparing them to the ones knitted by my gran and i know hers were 8 ply.. oh well the work and are super cute
on the site it says they are handknitted, but they def could pass for machine knitt, they are fantastic quality

Mel(Gudism) I meant a list of things you need to do before Mehkelti is born, not a list of contractions. I wrote a HUGE list of things to be done and had Em the following morning.
Ness Will talk to DH and see if he wants me try my hand at seing some nappies and things. he does like Minky but I dont know. He might say yes If I use it to make boyish nappies :lol:
Melham My bubbleJ size 2 has a tag that says L on it. it is attached to the bubbleJ lable
My tax arrived Yesterday, but it was only the tax, not the FTB supplements. So the CC bill is paid. DH's Tax should arrive today and the the supplements will be deposited into our account. Going to go to Harvey Norman today and look at dryers. I am to get aim to get $50-$100 off it if they are a decent price. DH wants to pay off the new car so we can bring it home. I would rather he wait until the supplements come but oh well.
Well I had a bit of a sucky day yesterday, but it could have been worse. DH and Dad were mucking around under the bonnet of my car on Sunday Night and Dad forgot to put the cap back on the oil tank. so I had oil EVERYWHERE and my engine overheated because the coolant all got used while the engine was trying to fight the heat buling when the oil all disappeared! all this was after DH broke down in the car we have borrowed from my aunty and uncle, his coolant was empty too! Thank God they didn't cease and Thank God Mum was able to help me and get them both going again! Mum used to work in the engine plant at mitsubishi so I prefer her to look at my cars that Dad or DH but they like to. hmmm, must check everything next time the fiddle under my bonnet :rolleyes: And that was totally not nappy related :redface:
If DH's Tax is it today It will be a good Nappy Day! Will have to persuade him to wait for the supplements to pay for the car, dont like my chances though! His check wont clear enough to pay off the car today anyway so he is better to wait for the supplements!
To those I was sending FLuffy mail today, it didn't happen, Server was still down this morning & was unable to get addresses from PM box. I will send them tomorrow. Sorry, the post office just isn't close enough for me to do second trip out again today.

I just want to say that i am very impressed with the customer service at BBH.
(sorry to hear that auspost is being slow for you maz!!!).
I emailed them regarding my troubles with night time and wetness etc. and they have emailed with lots of advice on how to use their covers etc. I am very impressed with how quick and friendly they were to help solve my problems!!
I got spiky mail today (snappis) lol and like you maz... waiting on my lllamajama fluffy mail!

Maz.......I called BBH on a Friday paid my layby by CC and it was delivered on the Monday Morning.......Any order I have gotten from them has been 2 days Max...give them a call.

I've fallen even further in love with Minky - Riv did such a nasty poop in the BerryPlush and it rolled straight off! So good!
Yeah Sal had Maddison Dorothy on Sunday arvo. 6 pounds! Will be awhile before the BBH fit methinks.
