Yeah Maz, that's the one. It's St. Mary of the Angels and it's right near the hospital
It's massive... way too big for a tiny wedding that we're having lol but I love it.

Janie and Nelle, i know you both like the Motherease covers, did you know that there is a Motherease AIO? i just saw it at the baby blossom site.

Cookie - planning a wedding sounds so exciting, although it prolly is ALOT of hard work really, pity the church costs so much, but sounds like you have a strong connection to it - so that's nice you will get married in the one you really like.

SKITTLES - that's great your baby beehinds cover caught all the runny poo today. I could not get flats to work for us for love nor money so i take my hat off to you hon.

If you want to see what contours look like, nurture nappies sell the baby greens ones, and darlings downunder sell the kissaluvs contours. i would post the links for you if allowed.

Foldups are just two layers of bamboo fleece, 30 x 30cm, sewn together. i got mine from baby beehinds back then. You fold it into three, like a pad, put that inside a cover with leg gussets, and lay a microfleece liner ontop - that is the entire thing. very simple. very trim and very thirsty. do you sew?
(Covers with leg gussets are designed to be used with prefolds, foldups, trifolds, contours etc.)

welcome to Kiwi Fi, did you used to post on Nappycino or ozclothnappies? i'm having a de ja vu moment! How fantastic to finish your degree, congrats!

Nessa - your soaker rocks! i clicked on your photo of Annika in her itti, it looked so dark i could hardly make anything out, is she in a pair of your boots? or did i dream that up? was so hard for me to see anythign very well.

Janie - hope you're feeling slightly LESS crappola now -

AJ- That church has the longest isle in either Melb region or Vic,(can't remember the details?!) so it is pretty sought after by brides wanting to do a 'big' walk! Adds to the expense being so popular i am sure. I know a girl from Redhill, that got married there just for that reason! lmao. Well i am sure the fact that it is a spectacular church adds to it as well.

Gigi - yep I can sew, if miss Maddi would let me near the machine for more than 5 mins LOL

The contours look good but, I think she'd out wet them, we nearly out wet the flats already.

MAZ - thought you'd like to know, bilby has not been a bub for choosing which nappy she would like to wear next, but of late (the last two days) she has been pointing and making noises towards your Mac computer apple cover, and will even TANTRUM if we don't then put that one on her! So young bilby is coming into "her style" at long last!

she's been into the tactileness of MCN for quite a while, wanting to have the minky or bamboo velour rubbed on her cheek, giggling about that, BEFORE said nappy goes on her bot, but never before, fussy about the colour, picture, anythign like that, of the MCN.

so hasn't she got good taste Maz? picking YOURS above all others!!!! PMSL! oh what a bilby, oh what a gal!

WOTBB: Sugarpeas fleece cover with a Lotus night nappy insert snapped into it, baby legwarmers and knitted booties, under cotton loose sleeping bag.

i think she's on the mend, back to weeing for the Olympics, so i can stop worrying about dehydration - yeh!

PINK - congrats on knitting your cover, that didn't take you very long, i am WAY impressed!

Melham- oooohh... what do you want for the blueberry?? My soul is spoken for and I'm kinda attached to my firstborn, but anything else is up for discussion!

PP - love the soaker! So cute!

Maz - tried to click on your link, but I can only see nb covers or the ones that aren't available yet - is that right? I think I'd be looking for a medium so maybe I'll wait until next week when the new stuff's ready. Can't figure out how payment is accepted either (PayPal or CCard?) or what the postage costs are... Maybe all will be revealed when the new stuff's ready!

WOHB - sandman & longies ('cause we had a poo leakage onto his wool cover this morning now I have to wash it again!)

The difference is, i'm assuming you're using flannelette flats.

Contours or foldups made out of bamboo fleece, will absorb much more than cotton flannelette. SO it's not the size of the thing, it's the absorbency level of the different fabric, that makes the difference. IYKWIM.

    Morning all.

Just a quick pop in... was impressed with Bubblebubs last night - think she slept for 3 hours (could have been 4) by the time I got to change it... was close to leaking up the back but it was contained.. woohoo!!!!

Thats a thing I have to get used to as well. DS is a tummy sleeper and a boy so the pee goes in a totally different direction than a girl sleeping on her back!!!!!! Never had to worry about pee seeping up the back of his clothes!!!!

Might try a flat today on her today

WOAB: Snoozywun and longies still (yup I'm slack)
    WOMB: Sposie
