Someone commented on my serious hunting ability... DH & I have been doing it together as 'our time' in the evenings - that's why I've managed to get so many!

It's our first time and it's all very exciting! Just hope I win a nappy now!!

WOHB: BumGenius (boring white, but it was the only colour in stock!)

Well i really want to do some sewing today and exH said he was going to come and spend some time with the girls (well he said day) funnily enough i think the day has already started and i havent heard anything from him.
He went clubbing last night which is much more important

Bea - Hmmm.. how typically male of him.. I have an exH too... they can be.. frustrating..

Ok, so I'm going to take the plunge and try some other WAHM nappies (yes other than widdlewuns..lol) - can anyone tell me which is good out of:-

    Keester Kovers
    Rollicking Rascals
    Wild Child nappies
    CGR Design ones
Whizz Kids (not the night ones - just the normal AI2's...)

Any opinions would be great. I'm a bit hesitant to go away from my beloved widdlewuns.. lol

Bea - nope no kids with him. He was far too self absorbed to even think of loving someone other than himself..

Maz - I'm going to the 'S word' today (as soon as my little bloke wakes up). I need ribbon and toggles otherwise I am going to have to staplegun his hat to his head.

Hope your tummy is feeling better soon Kat.

Mel - KKs and Wildchilds are both ace - haven't tried the others. Gigi loves KKs (the only front snapping nappies the Bilbster can wear, because they have a really cool snap system), I like them too. They can be worn boosted as a fleece AIO night nappy, but I've found that E tends to wee through them too quickly. And the Wildchild daydreamers are fabbo. Really good insert, and they have three snaps so no wing droop. Nice narrow crotch and good rise.

Hey - go all you good hunters. Well done Nettie (even if you had some extra help from DH - that's so cool!)!! I didn't even register for the code... No more new nappies for me until he grows out of this lot, then I'm gonna get me some more blueberries or d'lishes (or both). But I don't need the temptation right now!

Bea - I'd take the girls around to exH and let them jump all over him. Good hangover cure. I used to go clubbing a lot and had a few friends with kids - and they were always up bright and early for the kids if they went out, no matter how seedy they felt.

WOHB: cute tooshies and sugarpeas wool cover. And he's going to wake up soon so I'd better go do something useful.

Gudi... uh I mean Arim... I mean MEL! Out of the things you posted I only know about 2; WC = Good'o. RR = Cr@ptacular.

Gigi - You don't need to be biased to see the Bilby is GORGEOUS!! I agree re: the weight charts, I even said to the nurse I didn't particularly want to see but she said "C'mon, just for fun!"

ATTENTION SEWERS/CRAFTERS: Where does one get snap plier thing'os?? No way do I want or need a snap press for my short lived infatuations, but I have seen pliers on US websites... available here? Where?

hey when you make a ribbon blankie, what kind of ribbon do you use?

    Tra la laaaaaa

Anyhows, Pip's up'an'at'em today in a major way. DH did a huge piece of work on our new bathroom today, so "rested" this arvie, so while Pip was asleep we did a pile of garden work - I planted seeds and then dug in manure to our veggie patch and then came and polished all the furniture with beeswax and vacuumed & mopped & even cleaned the filters on the vacuum. DH managed to survive a pooslposion and put him into a zappy! Very proud of DH for that!

Nettie - that is a lovely picture you've painted of your DH and you!

QM you can get a tool from spotters that you bash with a hammer. It's for the metal snaps though, not the plastic ones.

I could tell you then I'd have to kill you

Seriously...any ribbon as long as it stays put and wont come unravelled from pulling ect

Hmm, thanks Sammi but the thing I've seen looks more like pliers?? Looks MUCH easier than messing about with a hammer....

yes QM - i think the one sammi is talking about is like a piler - you put it on either side with the metal clup and eyelet then hit it with a hammer.
We had one - bought from mitre 1o - to put eyelets into our nylon.

But not plastic.... I have only seen the big snaps machines. They are expensive though i think
