The Crop A dile will only set embellishment style snaps...they are not functional snaps as in they have no male and female backs to them to enable things to snap together....the only tools with the power to set a functional snap are a hammer type tool or a snap press which is also using a more forceful hammer type action. Something that is set together with only the strength of a wrist action is not going to have the strength to hold against the stress of being opened and closed like a nappy does....Does that make sense?

Ah Mel, thank you! It does but I don't like it lol. What about a Dritzel snap pliar? Do you know anything about them? I could get one from the US is all & it says it can be used on clothes etc? It was the first one I saw actually but the croc thingy was cheaper!!

**Spanks to you too Maz! It's just I only want to mess about IYKWIM, I have sooooooooo many phases with 'making things' that I doubt I'd use it much at all so was thinking the cheaper the better....
