No trip tot he GP yet. I will give it a little longer. To be honest I would feel like a bit of twit I think goin gin after 3 kids & saying I can't get rid of this nappy rash issue. Surly after 3 kids I should know!
To be honest I think its not getting the chance to dry out. It always looks worse in the mornings after being wet for so long. Even with fleece liners to keep her dry.
I think I might need to roll up the rug on the floor boards & let her go nudy rudy for a few days straight, Just keeping out of the carpet area's of the house will be fun.

    So Disposable/flushable liners anyone?

what are you asking about the flushable liners FJ?

Gudie - i wash at 60 degrees all the time, other people wash using cold, all the time, some people wash mainly with cold but do a weekly hotwash, there is no actual rule - it's about "what works for you" and what you have access to/choose to do. but your MCN will survive hot or cold. If you're in any doubt (particularly about nappy warranties, it always pay to read the care instructions.

e.g if the care instructions of a particular brand say DO NOT WASH ABOVE X DEGREES adn you wash above X degrees, then if anythign goes wrong e.g elastic, your warranty will be invalid.

if you think you will forget what the care instructions are, and say you have 12 nappies of one brand (so the warranty is extra important to you), you can always print out the care instructions and blue tac them to the laundry door, so you don't forget.

The "separating out the nappies to wash them" thang, is a personal choice and more likely to be done when you only have one child i am guessing! cos it's one more thing to think about. It was drilled into me as a kid, money doesn't grow on trees and look after your things so they will last (and it will help the re-sale value). Plus linting and snagging of the MCN really irk me (see, personal quirk). Plus i really like black nappies! black attracts lint!
