OMG I just got the cutes fluffy mail!
I got 2 NB bettle bums off NC & OMG they are seriously tiny fluff!!! One is white minkee & the other is a funky duck print. Not a massive fan of Bettle bums as in the past I found the fit too small for ISla. But the price was right so I grabbed them.
I also got a pair of NB longies which a orange colour way with a mushroom on the leg, with a matching hat. Again OMG Im soooo clucky!
Also got a pk of snappis from ebay (6 in total) & then some bits n pieces for the baby too. socks etc.

MY GOWD I AM SO DAME CLUCKY!!! Hurry up baby!!

Suse change him on the floor! Bribe with a bickie/rusk/bit of apple, whatever is his favourite. Or even a special toy just for nappy changes. Caleb was fascinated with a tube of cream. Must have been the twist off cap!

FJ I've been thinking about getting out the tripod and striking a pose. I've definitely dropped after this wekend. Won't repeat myself again as I posted in the expo meetup thread but I overdid things a tad
Gee I should have had a bet with Maz. She was sure you were going to go this weekend

    PP what a cutie

Nappies are washed. Wasn't as bad as I expected (thank goodness!)

    Bottom Balm Question!

    girls,

Is that "Natures child bottom balm" for $15 any good? I'm thinking of ordering some... just getting organised.... and it's safe to use on ALL MCN's I imagine??
Do you only use it when they have the start of a rash??

Ren - dunno, depends whats in it. When in doubt - use a liner We use some stuff that is made in Maleny - and it just absorbs into the skin - so I *think* that is safe cos its not a barrier cream. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!!!

Nelle - one word - ewwwwwwwwwww

Christy - so happy you found a place - hope its not one of those $800 ones!! How much do you want for the honeyboy???

Ok ok so I went a little crazy at the expo, but it was fun
    We got....
    2 itti bitti AIOs
    3 cushie tooshies
    3 tot bots
    1 thirsties cover
    1 tot bot cover
and now Im wishing I got more ittis

Went to the Worlds greatest pram stroll on Sunday at Berwick & the flag they used to start everyone off was a flat tied to a pool cue

We had our first Mothers group yesterday & someone needed a nappy change & I got heaps of Qs about her fluffy IB so I have to take in some websites for a few of them next week

Gigi - When I get home from somewhere I empty out the nappy bag & repack it except for nappies and put it next to the front door. Then when Im about to leave I throw in however many nappies Ill need. I have a small pack of travel wipes in the car for cleaning hands etc if we stop somewhere so I can used those if we are desperate for wipes & I dont have any in the nappy bag. Ive also got a small emergency bag with some disposable change mats I got given in it & a couple of sposies. I havent had to use it yet but its there if I need it.

Nelle - eww on the pooey carpet. I think Maddi's caught something coz shes been chucky the last 2 days & she isnt normally.

QM - yep it was the Imse Vimse swimsuits I got, but I already had a MD swim nappy so I only got the top/dress thingy

Ren- Sorry havent used Natures child bottom balm.
Has anyone used the aromababy one? Is it any good? I got 2 little sample tubs with the nappies I bought at the expo

Maz & Sammi - hope you enjoyed your hotel

    Hope everyone is well.

I best go hang out some nappies while someone is asleep

The one made with beeswax? Mmmm smells so yummy - you can use it as lip balm too - if that's the one you're talking about, I've got it and it's good. Makes a good waxy waterproof barrier if Riv has an open sore, but doesn't clog the nappy.

Riv's been particularly destructive this morning, so very glad they're down for a nap.

FJ - I like to put all our OSFA nappies folded to newborn size when I put them away. Makes me cluck too.

Funny non nappy thing happening here atm - Sarah is watching her Dorothy DVD (again) and is saying some of it at the same time as Dorothy! Man this kid watches this DVD too much!! She knows it almost word for word!! Well the words she can say.

PP - He is so cute!! I cant wait for newborn fluff on a newborn in my house!!! only 7.5-8 months to go

Suse - We are floor changers here. I let them run away nude when it is only a wee and then I catch them and make them lay down again. With poo, I wipe then let them run. We havent had any accidents doing that and everyone stays happy.

Saram - Was a good day. Maybe next year I will put ads in the community diary on the radio station I listen to. Needs 2 weeks notice. We will get more people to the RNW picnic eventually!!!

Dame Nelle!!! Lets hope it was just a passing thing and nothing serious! Time to get out the liners and do some very hot washes.

Sarah has decided she prefers sleeping on our bed. Dame. I dont like sharing our bed with her coz she kicks and I dont get a decent sleep. So we have taken to letting her fall asleep there and then we move her when we go to bed. so far no leaks on our bed.

Forgot what else I was gonna say, got interrupted.

He was in the shower while I scrubbed, then I got him out, and chucked a swim nappy (first thing on hand) on him while I fed Si - wee'd in the swim nappy, which trickled down his leg, then he slipped in it and rolled around in his wee crying...he's having his second shower of the day - everyone's happiest when he's in there, water crisis or not...
I'll have another carpet scrub when the boys are napping.

Poor River (and you of course for having to clean it up!). We have a gastro bug going around up here as well.
Gotta love showers hey. Whenever Nina is getting up my nerves, and we need to get ready to go out, I pop her in the shower. Works every time.
