Gigi what bunch of lousy so and so's! I hope they get big boils on their bums

Mel do you think it could be a chafe mark from the FOE getting wet? We had the same issue with Caleb which is why we tried fleece covers originally.

cheeky I would at least check every 2 hours unless bub is sleeping. If not wet or pooey then you can leave it a bit longer. Also depends on how bub reacts to the wet as some really don't like the feeling. I really couldn't leave a nappy on longer than 2 hours anyway due to rash.

    alert!

    morning ladies!

just put an itti on DD for the 1st time, after taking off a pooey disposable, and what does she do 10 mins later (and after I pat her soft fluffy butt a few times he he), a massive newborn style explosion!

What do I do????? I couldnt let it roll into the toilet so I tried to get as much off with a wipe as I could. I know your not supposed to need to soak them, but I surely cant put that in the machine with her other clothes can I?

How do you normally get that type of poo of?

ive gotten Jed to order me a big pantry for my material stash....i hope to god its big enough.

Christmas covers.....next week I'll be cutting into some christmas coloured minkee and fleece but I wont be showing them off until end of November.

Oh as for the cow minkee and cotton...i did hot pink and lime green (well its more grassy) and they look noice. Just spewing that I cant finish of some more now!

ETA - Kellie give it a rinse under the tap and leave it until you have a load of MCN to wash. I never wash my nappies with my normal cloths...ick factor for me....dont really like the thought of pooh being washed with my clothing

Maz - I only have MCN's though so far, I'm still deciding what to buy next! I do have a few of the flanellete nappies to wash that I clean up spew etc with, could I wash an itti with them? or would the fluff from the flanellete make a mess of the itti? Sorry for all the dumb questions!

Kellie give it a rinse off in the laundry trough and as you can dry pail it for a couple of days you may have enough burp cloths to wash it with on a small load. You could wash it with towels too and if you're worried about fluff on it use a wash bag.

Kaz - *waves hand in the air* add me, add me!

The Punk has her second cold... Poor little mite, her nose is constantly running, add that to her clingyness & ouchy butt from teething & she really isn't a happy camper at the mo.

I'm back from getting my new car - woohoo!!!

I have to have a look through the nappy buckets to see what I had her in over the last few days - I don't even know if I had her in a PUL cover, or wool... I just don't remember - need more BLOODY sleep to have a memory me thinks....

Kat - I just changed DD's nappy whenever she had a feed - so usually every 3/4 hours.

Gigi - you poor thing - stupid little b*stards.... grrrr....I hate people sometimes - they suck - no respect ...

Getting moo goo hopefully today - just hope I can remember which one I need to get!! LOL

FJ - sorry to disappoint you !!! That was bloody quick.... you are a star.. I owe you BIG TIME...

So I got some moo goo stuff - the one in the tube - I rang the store up here and asked if they had the entire moo goo range in stock - she said yup, all here - so i drive there (25 mins) and get there, ask and NOOOOO.. they only have the one in the tube and the scalp cream...

So I've put it on her butt and will see how we go...

Funny story - my mum was watching the kids today - and I picked up Miss M when I got home and she was all wet.. and I'm like.. hmm... wet butt here.. and mum is like.. oh I probably put the nappy on wrong like last time (this was the second leak today) and I unbuttoned the body suit and said.. errr.. nooo... you put the nappy on right.. just forgot the cover.. LOL

No wonder pee went through everywhere.. poor mum... she tries so hard (even though she did bring the kids back - both in disposables!!!!)
