ali - good to hear all is ok. I never use a cover over my fitted while at home. I was getting leaks, but that was when they weren't absorbent enough.

nana- welcome to the wonderful world of mcn!

mel - Nina went through a phase of only eating 2 min noodles. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, it didn't matter what time of day it was, that's all she would eat. Didn't last long though.

I think it's safe to say Nina is tt now. She wore undies to bed last night (she insisted on it), she got up at 9.30 to do a wee, then slept for 11 hours after that, and woke up dry So now I've only got one bum for put mcn on.

FJ & Sammi - sending you lots of labour vibes

Gi Gi Im still here. Nothing to report. I get the occasional tightening but nothing worth a second glance. I have an ultrasound tomorrow seems I am overdue & Im wondering if maybe that might spark things. Silly as it sounds, but Isla was born the evening of her "overdue" ultrasound. So kinda thinking that maybe it might be the same. But in saying that the midwife has me going for this u/s fairly early in the whole "overdue" thing. I then have a midwife appointment on Friday but hoping I can squeeze in tomorrow to save the double trip down the hill. Hmmm might ring now & see actually.

ali - Emily was 3635g, and after about 2 weeks she was able to wear bbb fitted with a small cover. Newborn covers never fit her. Didn't take long until she was in a medium cover though. She went straight into 000 clothes.
ETA: you have a fantastic dr! I've never had to go back to any of my dr's, only to find out the results were ok. Usually they just phone me to tell me.

    ALI-
BG, BBB and hautes i use and all have wide crotches.
IB and iishflys (which i have a few now) are narrow crotch and sometimes get poo explosiong from!

As for small covers. If i put a pad fold into one it still fits DD! lol otherwise they are still too bid for DS atm!

And prob is a Qhealth thing! glad to hear all ok.

Katones - i tell you what. Everytime i LS a newborn poo off a liner i think... omg how does that go life without one! lol

Jodi/mel - so sorry guys i cant do saturday it was really bad timing maybe when we are in cairns one day lol.......

Nessa - hows the gastro hun? any mail your end yet?

WOAB - BBH + wool cover
WOEB - Prefold and PUL cover

I think I may have gotten in over my head here! Can't keep up... but definitely not looking for recovery! It's cozy and comfy, so much minky and velour, why would I want to go anywhere else?
    Maz - you're just a bit legendary! Can't wait....
Ali - thanks, I'm just at the stage where I may have to sell a few. DS has just grown out of anything "small" sized, so there's a few fluffy things I'm a bit sad to have to part with. Turquoise IB or BerryPlush in jaguar anyone?? As for your ewwwy tale of crawlies in the nappy bucket, OMG! I thought it was bad working near the vegemite factory when I was first pg, the smell of industrial-strength yeast spread is enough to curl your nostril hairs, but that just takes the cake...

Gigi - yep, using flats too. DS has been in cloth since birth, pretty much. Flanny flats and a snappi - it really worked! Rainbow coloured terry flats now, and I've got the origami down pat! Confuses DP no end because I keep changing the folds as DS grows. I put printed instructions with diagrams on the wall next to the change table for him, but he can't get past the Bum Genius.

Jodi! Haven't chatted to you since bellybuddies! Emily sure has grown. Too cute!

Can anyone tell me good things about WildChild night nappies? Hope so, coz I've already ordered them... optimistic, perhaps, since DS is allergic to sleep.
See, now I've done it, he's awake again!

    *cries*

the cleaning lady "helped" by putting my nappies in the dryer, and the (new! only worn 3-4 times!) d'lish snap got stuck in the door of it and it has ripped the end snap off

    *cries*

Other than that, any Sammi news? I can see Fi still here despite induction-crazy midwives

WoHB - sposie, DH changed him for bed.

Oh GiGi, thats terrible. don't stress to much about it though, Just remember come final inspection time that have to factor in wear & tear of general living & if they use cheap paint etc then just point that out.
