SUSE - i was wondering today actually where you had been, felt like you hadn't posted for AGES! sorry to hear about your bumG woes - are they in warranty? which version are they? have you contacted the seller?

I've been finding it hard to get online - haven't even been lurking much (I miss you guys). Mr Walking is doing just that and is into EVERYTHING, especially computer cables. But we get our new computer furniture (and my DJ booth - YAY!!) next week-ish courtesy of DP's dad so once DP varnishes it I can at least sit at the computer without Euan getting into trouble/electrocuted if he plays under my feet.

The BumGs are well out of warranty - they're V2s. The V3s came out about 2 months after I got mine . But I don't think that it's specifically an elastic problem because it doesn't just happen on the nappies where the elastic is shot, I think that they are not the best nappy for E at the moment maybe also because he's still a little short for the rise on the largest snap setting which doesn't help the bunching when he moves around. As well as fixing the elastic (which is a pretty well known problem on the V2s) I think I'll try my GK inserts in them and see if that helps - and will keep an eye out on the GK ozebaby store for seconds. Thanks for the hot tip gorgeous hyena!

No nappy news here.... well except that I got up DH this morning cos he went to put a BumG on DS for his on the way to daycare nappy and I have told him time and time again that the BUmG's are strictly for the daycarers to PUT on him to make it easy for them - he knows how to put a snap nappy on.. grrrr... so I said unless he lets me buy more BumG's - then he has to use the snap ones.. heheheheehehehehehehe... I doubt I will get to buy more though ... even though we keep running out!!!!! Stupid muggy weather - makes things harder to dry!!!!!

I have a little woo hoo that's entirely non-nappy related - Euan slept from 9:00pm till 8:00am this morning, didn't even wake when we changed him and I fed him at 11:00, and stirred briefly at dawn but went back to sleep without me having to get out of bed. I'm sure such wonderful sleeping will be very short lived as we get a night like that about once every month - but WOO HOO. Even though I had a crap night's sleep because it was so DARNED HOT, it was still wonderful.

NaNa!! You and I would get along well (and match too!). Most of Euan's clothes are either red or black (or both), he's slowly getting a good collection of red nappies, I have two red carriers, and most of my clothes are either red or black. And no, I don't support Essendon...

suse - if it's not red, it's not mine!! I'm always being told off by DP for only wearing red, black and white, and always dressing DS in it too. But we look cute, I tell him! I luv my spunky rockabilly baby! Lucky we dont have a DD (yet) coz I'm allergic to pink... but retro cherry print MCNs caught my eye the other day and almost made want to TTC just so I could get them! Oh, now how sad is that?!?

Nana, I live in mainly bright colours, lots of blues and have hated Pink most of my life, when I was little I wanted to be a cop so I could wear blue all the time and i wanted my room painted a deep blue. I think I went through a year of liking pink but now it is on my Meh list. And I have 2 girls who are always in pink because people get them confused if they wear blue

Not sad at all - I only want another baby to have an excuse for more nappies & carriers (Actually, I don't need more carriers, I have 8 - two mei tais, a SSC, two ring slings and two wraps. And they are predominately red, black or white LOL. Any more will be strictly DIY...)

Nope I haven't been having a baby Ali, but I have been on a mission to find the baby insert for the carseat. It hit me this morning that it was MIA. It has now been found and the carseat is back together

Now for nappy talk...
NaNa I had an ORANGE thing going on for ages. Got heaps of ORANGE nappies in this household. Got a few reds too though
