hiya everybodeeeee (channelling Grover there)
i just LOVE my avatar, it's so YUM. Still feel very spoilt. I suspect some tricky person organised this, aka secret squirrel behaviour, cannot believe it. like wow. :shakes head: incredible.
my debt is with the Family Assistance Office. A social worker rang them up for me, and nothing can be done about the debt UNTIL dh lodges tax returns. Even if i leave, i will still have the debt. The debt is not tax return debt, it's repayment of family assistance. For years they have worked off our PROJECTED family income, but they can no longer wait for DH to get his tax done.
The family assistance money is in my name, so the repayment (debt) is in my name.
i am already paying off a Centrelink debt for him ($1,000), that happened when he hurt his back and was on Workcover leave. it's so complicated - and upsetting to me, cos i have never been in debt before. i would never accept a loan to pay it back, my personal rule is if i haven't the means to pay back a loan, i don't ask for a loan. But it's sweet of you girls to even think of it (if you won Lotto or something).
it has helped me get thru today, knowing i coudl talk about it here - you don't brush me off like dh does (as if it were nothing and i'm just over-reacting).
I'm trying to rev myself up for our photo session tomorrow, i must forget all this horrible stuff and think happy thoughts, to keep bilby in good humour to be photographed. Lucky i paid for the photos earlier this week, i prolly would have cancelled if i hadn't (now i know about the new debt).
so here's me, the one with the dh fabulous at changing and washing nappies, but disgusting irresponsible with lodging tax returns. Makes me wonder if it's the reason for his previous divorces. Makes me feel like i can't trust his word on anything.
FJ - bilby was feeding every two hours as a newby, and we had to change her before the feed, after the feed. 20 changes a day at the start. She also wee-ed heaps, we started using windpro fleece pockets for naps quite early on.
sounds like you are not having supply issues LOL.
so tired, gotta try and sleep, photo shoot is very early - this will be a Challenge to get up early, and be at botanic gardens early with all of us ready. can't even raise my voice, throat lurgy has kicked in, my trachy scar is all red raw from coughing.
got told the other day "you can't take photos of bilby in nappies, she's too old for that", but yes, we will get some shots of her in MCN. i don't care if not everyone agrees that it's approp at two. Tough, i think her legs look gorgeous in MCN. and she DOES wear nappies at two, it's not a shameful thing! I'm more worried WILL or WON"T she wear the tinsel garland to be the xmas angel? i got her a silver sequinned headband at cotton onkids, and LOST it by the time i got home, the shops were MADNESS this afternoon.
SASA - nurture nappies sell a bumgenius nappy deodouriser or neutraliser or something like that.
if your toilet room is too narrow to easily fit a ROUND nappy bucket, i would use a different shaped bin with a lid. Like a taller, skinnier kitchen tidy bin with a lid.
Try and raise it on a box or something, so you don't have to stoop to put used nappies into it.
the smell that hits you, is the AMONIA in the nappies, from the urine. (i think).
i think it's NappiesCovered that sell "Citrus Circles" that you tape to the lid.
I little squirt each item separately before putting in the bucket.
