    oooooops

Well today CC chose the emergency sposie instead of either a:
    twinklelilly AIO
    or
    ecobubs wool pocket

I was wondering why his pants kept falling off his hips - I buy the "cut for cloth" pants and they need the bulk of the nappy to stay up!!!

Lee - what a lovely offer! But i'm very happy with my home-made bamboo stuffing thanks

Maz - erk. We didn't get rain here - I was having a facial at The Glen when it was struck by lightning and the lights went all funny though ...

B - no, well done to you! Hey, how's the teething necklace working for you guys?

WoHB - bubblebubs GNST (I think?) with FJ cover.

Hi all A bit sad here as we are using sposies DH won't use cloth while I am in hossie with bub and I can't trust MIL will wash them properly after I caught her spraying one with preen (I use it on DH's grimy collars) after I told her not to use anything else in the wash not even nappysan. After she left I strip washed that load and it's on the clotheshorse ATM.
So sad and I'm not sure that a week will be detrimental to the well being of my nappies but I'll be fretting

ECAPRIS (Rachel with toddler Angas) has had her baby! Harriet arrived bright and early this morning, i posted a birth announcement, but prolly in the wrong spot, cos i was too excited to read the forum list right.

oh Sammi, that is one gorgy full term belly photo there, very atmospheric with the blinds shadow.

So Beatrix, can you see four teeth thru, or is it still A Work In Progress for MJ?
Aren't you glad that accident didn't happen on your carpet just before an inspection!! How did your friend react?
Whatever happened to the inserts you sprayed with spider spray within an inch of it's life? Did you manage to rescue them?

The one embarrassing, "while we out" poo leak for us (nb stage) just HAD to happen in the baby carseat of someone i barely knew. That convinced me to stick to prefolds and covers - until bilby's legs chubbed up.

How did you cope with poo leak all over your chest, esp whilst out of home Maz? Did you have someone to pass M too, so you could grab tissues, baby wipes etc? Mums often carry a spare set of clothing for bubs, but how often i WISHED i had packed a spare tee for myself, but never did (for breastleaks in the first 8 months) and i bet alot of mums would need them for reflux, chucky bubs too (in the ideal world, when our personal assistant was following behind with a spare set of everything ha ha).

SUnshine - thanks for the DDU tip, i HAD forgotten all about the starbunz! of course, think animals, think starbunz! (with the exception of penguins LOL). i think i had mentally crossed Starbunz off my list yonks ago, cos so many of the designs feature MAINLY WHITE as teh main colour and i am a bit paranoid about keeping white - well white! i will go and look again, just in case the monkey is not white. but hang on, what am i doing, i don't need to buy any nappies. Trainers, trainers, trainers, i must FOCUS!!!! Keep on getting LED ASTRAY and DISTRACTED. LOL

there is a blue zebra CGR set up on the CGR store on ozebaby, i woudln't get it cos it's front snaps and too wide (and we don't need nappies), but i really love the embroidery of the zebra picture. i'm thinking an animal theme for bilby's trainers. Little animals are floating her boat, so i'll go with that.

Pink - how are the sick two today?
Nelle - how is Riv? Maybe i should be asking how YOUR tum is, did you go nuts with yummy birthday food? great at the tiem, pay for it afterwards!

Queen - GL with what sounds like househunting at Colac. Hope you and PUnky have a good train trip - wooo wooo (pretend i'm making many thomas the tank noises).

now when you get a half a second hug from the bilbster, you have to share her with Anime Monkey and Big Ted. Monkey's head is SO big, you feel like you're cuddling three little people at once.

TAX NEWSFLASH - breaking news, we interrupt this rivetting ramble to inform you that Gigi's dh has actually requested Gigi visit The Accountant tomorrow to deliver dh's tax records. Dh cannot deliver said records himself, as due to the Damn Vandals latest actions, means he is on the bus to work, waiting for car to be repaired. So there is movement at the ranch.

Long suffereing accountant knows the score, and may just be the Knight in Shining Armour that Gigi needs and she is prepared to kiss his boots in gratitude, saving her from The Crippling Debt Part 1 - alas that is only the first tax return that is late, one more to come before this Scary Nightmare Debt is put to rest (until July 09).

Then I will sing the Hallelujah Chorus with relief.

Now, returning to our usual programming, carry on

    We await news from RAVEN!!!

Who was it, whose cleaning lady did Bad Things to the MCN? was that you Kazbah? i read of someone else, whose clenaing lady took bamboo trifolds from teh nursery, to use as CLEANING CLOTHS!!! They now stink of chemical stuff.

    how you doing Suse?

hi Melbel, if you're lurking hon! thinking of you.

Gigi - I am so happy to hear that dh has got his bum into action and is starting to relieve you of stress and crippling debt!! Now I must get my dp into the same kinda action (although he has done his returns that relate to our FTP payment years, just not the ones before ooops).

I am good btw honey, tired from Mr I-can-grow-Molars, and my family (and DP's mum) arrived today so we are inundated with a hive of activity in preparation for the first birthday on Friday (which, the way it is going, will be bigger than bloody Ben Hur ).

Sam - that is a gorgeous belly shot (both the shot and the belly). I did a kinda similar shot of my 20 week belly. I didn't get any good shots of my due/overdue belly, doh.

Oooh, oooh, congratulations Rach, and welcome to the world lovely Harriet.

Hi everyone else (channelling Grover, but not as well as Gigi does).

I got moo goo today. It has been used on the boy's butt - I left him with the over enthusiastic but in hindsight obviously clueless babysitters (clueless about nappies, that is, but then, I didn't leave specific instructions ) whilst I went to pick up DP from work and when I came back he had done a very large, stinky but unnoticed poo (more ) and was working on the first signs of a nicely red bum which has now been made udderly delicious and hopefully by morning smooth and soft as a... well, a baby's bum. It smells good too. Like honey. Mmmm. But anything is an improvement on that poo. Eeeerk.

And I got a teething necklace, it looked way cute on him with his cheetah blueberry (yes, Euan is now officially the gayest baby in the village, according to his dad ), so even if it doesn't work for intended purpose it still looks really cool.

I'm going to bed now. Nighty night.

WOHB: Whizz Kidz Nightz and grandma's wool shorties, and nothing else. It's still about 29 degrees here (at 11:00pm), and even the massive lightning storm didn't put a dent in the heat.

Gigi! Yay! So happy that your dh finally got it together with the tax BS! Small sigh of relief... then pucker up for those accountant's boots! BTW, I spotted some wild zebra-print pjs in KMart the other day. Of course, when I say "spotted" I mean "purchased". Can't help myself! I really should learn some self control. But then, DS really should stop growing so fast.

hey Suse, I have DS in a pair of rainbow babylegs, a rainbow Maz cover, a purple singlet and his teething necklace. Gayest baby in this village? He doesn't fit into the jaguar berryplush anymore... I can just visualise the terribly-old-fashioned Italian nonna next door shrieking "mamma mia" at that one. She already thinks I'm a heathen. Am I traumatising my child? Maybe, but he looks fabulous!

Beatrix - congrats on selling your house! looking forward to seeing your BF top. IKWYM about the teething necklaces not exactly being able to soothe much when it's 4 teeth cutting at once... I think we're getting one after another in rapid succession. Not fun.

Maz - erk!! I sewed pockets into my ring sling, and never go out without a spare t-shirt (in a zip-lock bag) for me in one of them. I also keep one in the nappy bag with DS's spare clothes. Haven't needed it for poosplosions yet, but a few BB leakages and a VERY chucky baby.

Sam - Gorgeous photo! The little hand touching your belly is so sweet.
at your MIL. Can you lock your stash away until you get home from hossy, just to know it's safe? Or is it too late now?? Hmmm...

No nappy news here. Just longing for my wildchild night nappies... but who knows when they'll be happening?
