Pink palace - I used opened up one of my bumwear and I was surprised how easy replacing the elastic 'looks' mind you I haven't attempted it yet.

Maz - all the best for the baptisim tomorrow! Trying to think what nappies Ari had on for her baptisim? I think it was just a plain white imse vimse for the ceremony and then some her light pink berry plush and haute for the "after party" :-) This is based on the pics - mind you she was in a very big dress so you couldn"t really tell.

Raven - we used to put covers of DD sposies when she was in them for that reason too :-)

one of my snaps on one of my fave nappies broke today so I need to wash that nappy and then get it fixed It sucks!!

Maz - I will get DH to drop a parcel in the post box on the way to work tomorrow. There is a pressie in there for Nikolaus and some fluffy mail. Just trying to find the right words for his card!! I have to get something for a special person still but that needs a bit more thought. I think you will put what you like best on Mat and he will look great. I think he is proud of his big bro.

Anna - It depends on how you want to fold them. You can have pad fold in the cover, which is the most absorbent and easiest , or you can spread out the back and snappi or pin it and then put on the cover, or you can fiddle around and find what works for you.

Well I had better keep looking for this verse for Nikolaus' card!!

WOTB: DH did it, No idea!!

Ali - I have a snap press so no worries! I don't have a huge array of colours but have some basics.

Anna - we used a pad fold for out prefolds, basically in thirds. The offer is there if you want to see some in real life, I even have a few you can try if you like we don't use them so much any more.

PP - I know what you mean, I have a Baby Kanga here waiting for me to be game enough to actually undo the stiching. I think Bubblebubs do floating elastic, which is basically tacked at one end and then the other so should be easy once you find where to unpick from. Have you tried contacting bubblebubs to see if they can give you a starting point. I think you need swimmers elastic too it's more durable I think

Sarah, it is a black one. I have both pieces of it sitting on the table. I have to drop by your place soon with some stuff for you anyway so once I have washed the nappy I will call you and make sure I can pop in, and I will make sure the gate is shut properly!

Maz - I found that verse!! I am so happy I did coz it said exactly what I wanted to say!! I think you will cack yourself laughing at the number of stamps on it coz it was 532 grams, so twice as much as posting 500 grams or less The entire top of the envelope is almost covered in stamps!!

I think I will try cotton prefolds with a bamboo booster in the middle on Em tomorrow. Surely she shouldn't react to cotton. I went grocery shopping tonight and nearly bought some gluten free bread for her, But it had dairy in it If she is reacting to wheat this is going to be harder than I first thought!! I might need a breadmaker!

Bought some eco-sposies for our trip tonight too. I hope mum lets me put them in their compost bin for the worms to destroy. Dad might need convincing though

Anyway I am getting cold so I had better go and turn the AC off!
