Sam - you bloody hyena you - I soooo wanted that Auriel. Well snaffled! I'm sure they had a few more days left though, not sure what happened there. Possibly my cold infested brain got confused. There were about five of them up - there was a yummy bluey-green marbled minky one as well that I was coveting. Darn, darn, darn. Oh well. But you know, if you need someone to 'look after' it for you until it fits Ruby, well, you only have to ask. I'll keep it safe for you

You know, I don't seem to have that computer problem with my DP, he's as bad as I am. If you could see our loungeroom - we have my dj gear set up in one corner, with the TV in the middle, and then my mac and DP's PCs (yes, that's PCs plural) and the PS3 and Wii all next to each other. Suffice to say we are a rather electronically motivated household.

sounds like my house suse, DH has his big MF computer (its name is V, non gender specific as no human cold do as much as it does at once), i have my "desktop replacement" laptop (her name is Mex, after Mextli, the incan god of war, female as she has a duo processor ie men cant do two things at once), then we have the work laptop, her name is lucia (was originally luke after luke ridowski(sp?), 911 truth movement activist, but after i woke up once morning to find DH asleep cuddling it, name was promtly changed to Lucia as I wasnt going to be sharing my husband with another man ). Then we have the wii and of course dd's DS.

Mex is hooked up to the tv and sound system so we watch all of our downloaded movies through her, DD hooks the mic up to the sound system to do the karaoke vids. LOL

wardy - sorry hun, what size were you after? lol i think i grabbed the last from ozbaby

Quick question for GK users - when I fold down the front bit on James the velcro doesn't sit far enough down and looks like it will scratch his belly - is it ok to use it on full sized mode and pull up high on his tum? Fits snug around the leg the little porker

I have to fight DH for the laptop as he does some extra work at home in the evenings The silly thing is he has his own laptop but is too lazy to cart it home all the way from work.

Maz, you should be nervous, you're going to get overwhelmed with would-be buyers. Edit: waaa! I don't need breastpads anymore, but they look so luscious!

Tan, I don't know if it's right but that's what I do with my GK. THey don't seem to sit right on DS when folded down and since I only use them at night at the moment I figure a little extra coverage can't be a bad thing.

Waaaaaahhhh I missed out on the Blueberry slush.... inexperience I guess! It kept saying you need to add customisation but I didn't have any options so I am guessing that is because they were sold out - waaaah!

Kitten has been typing LOVELYbums, the actual brand is LOVEYBUMS, so id you google that Wardygirl, you'll find them.

for Swaddlebees, there are SO MANY diff types of Swaddlebees, it would make your head swim.

weewuns has a good range of them

    swaddlebees make
FITTEDS - organic velour inner and outer
    sized

COVERS - MM fleece (aplix) and merino wool (snaps) and PUL wraps (aplix or snaps)
    sized

    AIO - aplix or snaps
    sized and OSFA
these are hybrid, cos they have a sewn in absobency bit PLUS a pocket, so you can add a booster if your child needs that

    POCKETS
    - sized PUL ones with microfleece inner (old style on sale at weewuns)
    - sized PUL ones with cotton velour inners (new style on sale at weewuns)
    - OSFA PUL ones with cotton velour inners
    - fitted pockets with organic velour inners AND outers, so a fitted pocket - needs a cover - unusual

i'm sure this isn't as comprehensive as it could be, but that's all i can remember for right now - so you can see, when someone says, do you a SB, my response is "which one!!!" cos there are heaps!

we use the sized ones, cos they have the narrow crotch. From what you have said Eugenie, sounds like your DD has the same issue as mine, needs the narrow crotch nappy, so scrub that stuff i sent you about the Happy Heiny. right weight range but not right in the crotch width.

i'm finding it hard to think of any pocket brands with narrow crotch that go beyond 17kg - that seems to be the cut off. all i can think of now, is a custom pocket. (for your DD). Is she day trained at all? How many nappies does she go thru per day now?

when i first had this issue, i measured the ideal crotch width of mcn that DID suit, and made sure anything i bought, was around that measurement. If the web listing did not specify the crotch width measurement, then i emailed sellers - who were very happy to provide me this info. It's much better/easier/less expensive to find this stuff out before you spend the money.

WARDY - are you after fitteds? what size for? how many kilos?

Mandy macboos - if you have a tiny stash, i don't think they will be quick drying, but i think people get them more because they are a thirsty nappy, rather thasn a quick drying nappy. The quick drying nappies aren't usually as thirsty.

i heard today that the rise of the MM purple nights, is higher than their day nappies. And a mum of a heavy wetter praising them.

i like the mandymacs, but you have to be prepared to use a snappi to do them up. And put a cover over them, they are a fitted pocket.

    other fitteds -
the Daysies at sustainable hemp products,
    caterpillar cuties,
    cuddlesncloth,
lushies at SHP (might only come in nb size though).
the tots bots new "flexitot" at nurturenappies
    very baby fitted at theweewuns
    bits for bots fitteds

wotbb: whizz kidz nightz with rainbow striped longies and star socks
"star! star!" says the bilbs with a huge smile
