SAM - i hear you on the Cheeky Butts front ... she is not on Oztion anymore either :hmm:

oh a few post back re: the cheeter on the pig or something .. yep did sound dodgy .. yesterday i was googling a new hairstyle as im getting my hair cut today .. please dont type in : "short and curly hairstyles" or anything with short and curly

well Gab wore her lou lou yesterday .. it only got washed once then on to her butt... it did leak a bit ..but im sure i gotta wash it more and boost it a bit , as i thought that anything with a hidden layer of PUL esp QC will be prone to leaks !

any way .. Nixon got up at 4 am to do wees on the potty !! his NN was dry too .. aww so proud .. BUT he never went back to sleep .. sooo tired me is ..

Oh and my mum has issues with MCN too ... too bad i got no sposies in this house !!
and MOO GOO is great stuff for the chafing ... Gabriella is 5 mths and 6kgs too .. but she aint skinny , sometimes i have to make sure i haven done the nappy up over her fat rolls .. gotta make sure its right up near her crotch
WOHB - I think by the looks through her clothes , its BG - dh changed her .. Im meant to be working ..

MUMMY TUMMY - have you tried him in nappies that do up with SNAPPIES, or with SIDE SNAPS? does he get the chafing with those too?
itti bittis have an inner of suedecloth i think, is it possible he is reacting to suedecloth?
Thanks Gigi! You are so knowledgable about MCN! Careful or I will start following you around like a pesky 3 year old asking lots of questions!!

I have tried side snaps, I have a Berry Plush nappy, but because I only have one it is slower on the rotation. It also doesn't fit him well, it could be me not getting the adjustment right but it never seems to sit right after I have picked him up off the changetable. I might take a little more notice next time I use it though. I have tried a snappy and again, I am the novice. I can never get it to grip where I want it to and then the wings fall out from under it.... aggghhhh I am just a nightmare at using them!! I need some one-on-one instruction!! Yes IB do have suedecloth as the inner and I did think that, but he still seems to be getting the reaction from some of the other non-suede inners, such as Bubblebubs velour. I am thinking though that I might get some fleece and cut up for liners to see if it is the suedecloth. The only reason I am not thinking it is a reaction to the suedecloth is because it never affects his bum or all the other parts it is touching, just his poor willy and sack!! And not always his whole willy, just the top of it like it is rubbing on the nappy.

Any other suggestions for AIO nappies (I couldn't convince DH to use the fitteds and covers, they are just for Mummy to use at home!!) that have a narrow crotch, lowish rise and don't have a suedecloth inner?

I think I have to get some MooGoo, DH's excema is playing up and we are due to challenge soon so i know there will be some NR coming up.

Jols - she stalls with EVERYTHING!! Not just getting up to wee. Last night she kept wanting to get up to say sorry to daddy for not going to bed . She eventually went down at about 9 after a bit of ignoring.

    Hi All,

Just want to ask a few questions. I go on another forum specifically for day care and this has come up on it.

I do FDC and have been thinking of asking the parents if they would mind me supplying cloth nappies for their children. During last year I had 8-9 kids in disposables each week sometimes up to 4 a day. You can just imagine what my garbage looked like.

    1. Would you feel this is ok (me supplying rather than the parent)
    2. Would you be comfortable in your child wearing a nappy that had been worn by another child (of course, it would be washed between times)
    3. Would it be washed hygenically enough for you - using the normal mcn method of washing

can you list anything else you can think of that I may have not thought about. Give me some pros and cons for this so that I can inform these parents.

I would ask they supply a home time nappy so that my "stash" didn't go missing.

Wanda - I would Love that, but some regular sposie users may be a bit turned off to the idea. I would say that if they were saving money though many parents may be more open to it. Maybe pop a question in the more generalised are of the nappy section, so you can have some sposie users put their views on it in.

Wanda I wouldn't mind, but like Ali, I'm a MCN user....

Our FDC or day care don't mind if we use MCN's but with either we have had to provide our own nappies.

Well I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself. I've managed to acquire about 2 dozen nappies within about... 10 days? I think I've done pretty good. I'm really happy with the new stash, although theres' a couple of nappies that fit Tyler from when Blake was in MCNs.

I've got (if you don't mind me sharing)
    3 x Genesa Forge's
2 x Bits for Bots fitted
    2 x Bits for Bots AI2
    6 x IB d'lish, 3 snap in, 3 sewn in
    2 x Swaddlebee pockets
    2 x Happy Heiny pockts
    1 x IB fitted
    1 x BBH
    1 x Magicall
    1 x Bumgenius V3

Geez, that's only 21 I think and I'm sure I counted more when I put them away. Hmmmm. Well I've also got a BBH deluxe trial pack which has
    2 BBH bamboos
    1 Magicall
2 PUL covers (with the 1 bonus one from Lea)
    1 Wool cover
    1 night booster and
    1 wetbag

plus 2 second hand BBH bamboos and 2nd hand Magicall to come.

Gotta be happy with all that.

Oh and I probably should have mentioned that I have 2 of the most scrumptious covers from gorgeous Maz.

    Sounds good Rachael!!!

Well I can sadly say that yes My DH did use the LS on himself. So don't feel so bad if yours does when it is a new thing on the wall Right now he is on the phone with my dad discussing whether a welder dad is looking at on ebay is any good Gotta love trade opinions.

Rhy, bugger!!! Did it overheat? Is it repairable or completely ceased?

I used the LS on a poo for the 1st time today. Only got a bit of water on the wall, but no poo splashes. Still need a little practice.
