Gogo Mel - I would call them anyway. Do you have an evac plan ready? I had a horrible dream last night that he made an upside down number 4 and came through Townsville at full strength. Would take him a while, he is only going 17km/h but using a lot of energy to do so.

Missy Mel - does it have any PUL in it? Maybe the snaps have damaged the PUL and it needs re-sealing?

No surprises in the bathroom again!! As soon as I let him out he went and peed on the grass so I assume he is house trained!! WOOHOOO!!!! Now if only Em would stop peeing on the floor

Lucky house training a dog is easier than TT a child - otherwise you'd have two lots of cleaning to do.

I had a dream about Hamish last night too, almost exactly the same as yours. Turned around and made a mad dash for Townsville. Woke up and come to check online to make sure it wasn't coming back.

I ordered about 6-7 pairs of huggalugs and won some items off B4B. I was scared of them arriving while the man of the house was home as I promised no more spending until after our holiday. Luckily he's been called in to work his two days off - YAY. YAY on two accounts, 1) that he won't be home to see my mail and 2) overtime means extra holiday spending money.

Oh yeah did I mention I'm going on holidays

Just noticed Ali - your DD is 5 days older than my DS

My man and my boy have both fallen asleep together on the floor watching Elmo. Ahh the silence!

EDIT: Oops I meant DD - Em. Should have been a little more specific.

Ali it's fleece. It's not even soaking in, just running straight off. I have it in the wash again so hoping its just a not enough prewash issue or its just build up. I brought it off B4B but they said it had only been used twice.

Missy Moo - maybe they only used it twice, but maybe they washed with fabric softener or something? Who knows..

Ali - yeah DH doesn't think it will hit down here - he thinks it will be kept up around there because of the high pressure system that is underneath it - thinks it will be pushed back up there. I hope for your sake it isn't got he's gathering strength!!

Lets hope and that we all remain safe.

Oh, and if anyone has any really really cute pics of their bubs wearing say like, ecobubs, green kids, spunky butts, monkey doodlez, bumg's, happy heiny (ie, anything from a certain online shop - including ergo's and baby legs!) please please please can I have a copy? Will love you forever and ever!!!!

(my kids just aren't photogenic - he runs off and she looks like a deer in the headlights)

yeah Mel I was just thinking maybe it wasn't prewashed properly. And I haven't a clue how they washed it. Going to give it a few more washes and see how we go.

Dave just left from visiting Ash and all I can say is AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! I just have to keep thinking I am the better person, I am doing this for Ash, this will look good for me in court...

Cheeky Monkey and Ali - wow I was thinking the same thing, I was so nervous that he would just turn in on us ans he passes us by. Anyone else find it funny that it is windier here today then it has been the last 2 when we had wind warnings

Took Ari out to shop for a new iron today and she wet right through her econappi - have no idea what happened, the pram was soaked through! Checked the insert not bunched or anything. Weird????

The lovely Sam at NB is giving me one of her new Fuzzibunz OSFA to try, very excited. I've had a very fluffy week with the GF naps and Gigi mail. Feeling very spoilt. Oh and the new Hautes are arriving soon! Now the snaps go up to 16kg like the H&L. They used to be one of my fav pockets until they got a bit tight so I'm looking forward to checking out the bigger size.

And just have to say HOORAY my assignment is finished!!!!! Until the next one is due anyway

    Dang you guys can talk!
I'm gone for three days and I miss 9 pages of posts!
I'm not even going to attempt to catch up!

I just have one question for everyone...

How many covers in each size do you think I should have?
I've packed away all the large nappies and covers - DS is officially totally day toilet trained now!
So then I got out the newborn/small nappies and the newborn/small/medium covers and I'm sort of taking inventory of what I have and what I might need!

So how many covers do you guys all have in each size?

Okay, must go start cooking dinner - will be back after DS is asleep!

WOHB: Thomas the Tank Engine UNDIES - which he is VERY proud of considering he'll drop his pants to show anyone he talks to!! *grin*

Heidi - I think I have 4 - 6 in small and medium - and I had 2 newborn sized ones - plus a maz cover in each size - plus my longies/shorties/soakers in different sizes.

Arimenh - the one thing this thread's mammas would be great to you especially, would be for photos of their bubs in Mazalicious covers, ask for those specifically and i think your email inbox would crash under the volume LOL.

methinks Suse would have some pretty spesh sling shots if you contacted her.

Heidi - congrats on the TT-ing. we're going the same direction, so all of a sudden, not using fitteds and covers anymore (sad about that).

we're just using pockets/waterproof trainers for leaving home these days, as bilby is a bit sus of unfamiliar toilets - flat out refuses to use them, even with her familiar toilet seat insert in them. oh and night nappies, which are usually dry in the morning. So that's more for my peace of mind. I'm not going to put her in trainers overnight, until she is completely day trained. Hope that's the right thing to do, not 100% sure what i am doing.

today was a great "poo" day, as in, she did them all in the toilet, but we had one "wee" incident on the lino. I had her in knickers and a two layer bamboo booster, so it was a very small puddle. Just when i thought we had the "wee department" sussed.

I'm working myself up to parting with her mcn, well some of it, it will be sad.

Hey, none of the Vic gals have been on to say how the meetup at Sammi's went - maybe they're still there!

LOL Gigi - I saw Mel's post before, but don't use the carriers she sells. Have a bunch of pics of E in other carriers though, mostly wraps or customs/DIYs, so they'd be no use to her.

Go Bilbster on the TTing, you are both doing such a fabbo job!!

Gee I've been away for a while... missed you lot! Have only just started lurking again. E is just about asleep so I will have to make it quick, but just wanted to say a big HI and let you all know I'm thinking of you lovely lot. Will pop in again soon when I've got more time.

WOHB: nature babycare sposie - still using them at night because for some inexplicable reason, he sleeps a million times better when not in cloth. Have discovered that I am marginally sane when I get between five and eight hours uninterrupted sleep, so it's a reasonable trade-off as far as I'm concerned.
