Kizbah I have one, the Holden nappy. Also have a Munch Crunch one coming. LOVE IT!

AnnaT my boy has sparkles!! They are all 'boy' nappies too He has a blue spider, blue pea****, blue dragon, orange blimp, aurora elephant, green cow, blue cow and green tree frog. All wc bling.

No nappy news here except I spent the night in hospital with Ashton and all the nurses had to have a looksie at all his nappies that I brought (all bling and mottled itti d'lish too). He is ok, just kept on vomiting for no apparent reason. Settled this morning so I have NO idea!

Mel - Could the vomitting be why he isn't feeding properly?

Em wore the IF Lady bug at the library today!! They had rhyme time and our MG went to it!! She got a few looks but that could have been because of her constant tantying

Anna - You registered for postal or early vote? You won't be making it to a polling booth on the 21st!!! I think River might be here that weekend!! Have to get DH's address for postal vote stuff to be sent to him too

Ah Ali ta for reminding me! Dh needs to change his vote details too. Funny you should say that, my friend today said to me 'Oh he'll be here in the next week or two, you wont make it to 38wks and the birth centre' because Ive dropped heaps I do know that the hossy has a tub though so Im just gonna refuse to get out of it hehe cheeky arent I. Seeing Jeannine tomorrow anyway so will see if he has engaged or not. We need to do coffee next week too!

MissyMel - we have bling but for bub, a mortal kombat WC. Would be nice to see some Iish sparkles aimed at boys though, the only one's she lists are girly like flowers.

Im gonna have to give the pot o' golds a miss, DH wants to go out tonight so I wont be home lol So hyena away ladies I will try and nab one next time, atleast then I'll get a size thats definately usable for ages.

Anyone got KRudd $$ put aside for some special MCN purchases? I'll def be using some of it for some Mazalicious night nappies. Most of it will go on paying off our new double pram.

Oh and the orange postie card wasnt fluffy mail yet (Wah) it was a present for Dh from the inlaws. So Ive got three lots of fluffy mail to look forward to next week or two yay!

here's my post i tried to post at 1am this morning, but it wouldn't post, so i saved it

    welcome harley's girl

willow, the amount of jargon is amazing isn't it? you don't have to be absent very long, before new ones pop up. FJ isn't posting in here as often as usual, i miss her too.

annaT - i have seen nappy auctions go to astonishing amounts, like nearly $200 for ONE nappy, but i guess there ARE people are there with bigger disposable income than me, and the auctions are usually fundraising for a worthy cause, so it's not that the actual nappy is worth that amount, it's the cause i guess. (although some of the mcn concerned, do have extraordinarily high levels of work in them - many many hours of painstaking labour, time and skill).

we are so short of trainers, i am washing and re-using same two each day very impatiently, can't wait for my fluffy mail to arrive (trainers). has anyone got a Potette?

i saw huggalugs for $10 tonight, cos all new designs have arrived (including MONKEY faces!!), $10 ones on sale included MOO PRINT, if only i could remember where i saw that sale, not an MCN shop, a baby shop.......hmmm.
chic mother and baby - that's the one!
they're listed on the MUM'S GRAPEVINE site, where the list of sites having sales is (including discount codes).

any of you melb gals know of BLUE FARM SHOES?

Limey, must email you. still got trainers for your CHarlotte.
Is it Charlotte that is Miz March in the Nappycino calendar?

Charmlea - bits for bots does fleece pockets. very low on stock, i think only one left (in sand colour).

AnnaT - like Alioops said, you don't HAVE to use snappis on prefolds. If you use a snug fitting cover, it's not needed. I put bamboo foldups (30 x 30cm) into nb covers -didn't need snappis at all.

kitten - what is this jam tots FITTED you speak of? you got me curious.

Kitten - you need more night nappies? hmmm. do you ahve my email add

Willow - whizz kidz is coming back soon, i will ask for you. i was hoping they would be back online for the Nappy Hunt madness, but doesn't look like it. how urgently do you need them? like, for right now? or later?

spent most of today in same pair of trainers. Has gone back to the "toilet for wees, but not for poos" idea. Don't feel brave enough to try her in trainers overnight yet, although she is telling me when she wants to go to the toilet (at night) and having a dry night nappy the next morning.

Gigi - It's amazing how fast it happens when they are really ready.

Scary things are happening here - Em has been sitting on the potty with her nappy on or off. She takes her nappy off and then pees on the floor, and she can say wees and poo, but she hasn't figured out when to say them or how to hold on yet!! I doubt she will be much over 2 when she fully gets it though

Missy Mel - WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Still too much going on here to hunt properly, but I will get back into it soon.

ALIOOPS - adding a wetzone strip of microfleece, or a shorts layer of microfleece, or a sling of microfleece, to an EXISTING pair of trackies?

they would have to be 100% polyester polar fleece trackies for it to work.

When you go to buy tracksuit material, you will see on the white cards at the end of the roll in Spotlight, there is tracksuit material that is part cotton, part poly.

often you see kids tracksuit pants and windcheetah tops in big w etc in this fabric. it's brushed cotton on the outer, fluffy on the inside.

You don't often see the 100% polyester trackpants for sale - but that's what you would need, to put your idea into action.

BRIGSY - how lovely of your mum to throw you a baby shower. i didn't have one, but they sound nice. i went to a Blessingway last year, for a friend's upcoming birth. it was full of positive female vibes, loved it.

MELB GALS - have a great time at Sammi's tomorrow - wish i could be there!

RHYB - your baby expo sounded great fun, only one more sleep til your op.

CHEEKY MONKEY - how fantastic you sew your own MCN. good on you.

MAZ - sorry to hear of your mishap. i am still typing nine fingered since my altercation with a knife, so i sympathise.

Gossamer Dreams - there you are petal - i get mindblocks about spelling words too.

I am not getting very far on the Nappy Hunt, don't think i've scored an icon for about four days now. I have a go each day at a few sites, these sites that don't start you off on the home page (and have 1,000's of links) really give me the irits.

GL for all the FNQ gals and your Cyclone Hamish

NaNa - nappies falling off the line due to earthquake? OMG!!

wow gigi, Bilby is going off on the TT!
Charlotte took her nappy off today to do a wee on the toilet! desperately had to be on the toilet for wees then of course sat there for 5 mins with nothing before she climbed off and promptly went back to the lounge room and weed in the corner! lol

Hope she doesn't TT too soon though! I haven't had anywhere near enough fluffy time yet! lol

How you doing Ali? Still all clear from Hamish I hope.

    Have fun tomorrow girls

Missy Mel - well done on the extremes girl! You are kicking arse something fierce with the Nappy Hunt!

ll80 - lol - I was dreaming about icons last time too...it is a nasty vicious addiction!!

Yep Alexis, according to the tracking map the warning has moved a bit further south. we still need to be prepared for strong winds but not too much, they have moved the threat further south, so now it is heading for the Whitsundays. He is a Category 5 now though so if we were in his path I would want to evacuate!!!

Must remember to wash and lanolise soakers tomorrow. They are wicking something shocking!!

Gogo Mel - I would call them anyway. Do you have an evac plan ready? I had a horrible dream last night that he made an upside down number 4 and came through Townsville at full strength. Would take him a while, he is only going 17km/h but using a lot of energy to do so.

Missy Mel - does it have any PUL in it? Maybe the snaps have damaged the PUL and it needs re-sealing?

No surprises in the bathroom again!! As soon as I let him out he went and peed on the grass so I assume he is house trained!! WOOHOOO!!!! Now if only Em would stop peeing on the floor

Lucky house training a dog is easier than TT a child - otherwise you'd have two lots of cleaning to do.

I had a dream about Hamish last night too, almost exactly the same as yours. Turned around and made a mad dash for Townsville. Woke up and come to check online to make sure it wasn't coming back.

I ordered about 6-7 pairs of huggalugs and won some items off B4B. I was scared of them arriving while the man of the house was home as I promised no more spending until after our holiday. Luckily he's been called in to work his two days off - YAY. YAY on two accounts, 1) that he won't be home to see my mail and 2) overtime means extra holiday spending money.

Oh yeah did I mention I'm going on holidays

Just noticed Ali - your DD is 5 days older than my DS

My man and my boy have both fallen asleep together on the floor watching Elmo. Ahh the silence!

EDIT: Oops I meant DD - Em. Should have been a little more specific.
