katones have you looked at a GF super night nappy, has a stupid amount of layer in it.
I just tried my Abby gro on Elise, great fit, heaps of room to grow but it's not loose at all, on the tightest snaps around the waist and it wasn't digging into her thighs at all, love it, must get more!!

LL...i am awaiting on a trial NN for Jack...to see how he goes with afew more layers other than that i am waiting for a stocking next week of some nappies i like..and they have NN so am willing to try one of theirs...

Hey, do you think having a zodiac embroidery thing on the back of nappies would go well? I've been asked my opinion whether people would be interested in that kind of thing - and I dunno.. I don't think I would buy a nappy that had say, Leo and Capricorn on there - I think I would be worried about resale value... whaddya guys think? its hard to give an opinion when I don't really have one.. pmsl..

ll80 abby gros are great arent they? so soft - even though they aren't double snaps they still fit really well.
and yeah i know, shame blings are my stand bys - but hey they might fit next bub perfectly so you never know. Dont have a problem with them leaking at all though - its how they sit on her tummy, dont look comfy.
kat - i dont know about snoozywuns but the widdlewuns are awesome - so one can only assume that her night ones follow suit!
nappy news - well we are having a fitteds/covers day, no AIO's/pockets. I hope i get my sugar shot order tomorrow!!
oh, and we have had a leak out of our twinkel liliy :( sux they are so preeeety. not sure if we should try again - the only poo leak she has ever had was from the same design.

I have a pre loved snooywun - way fabulous! Its the only NN my Ds1 will wear without waking for early morning nappy changes cause of mega wetness.
GogoMel - I stacked it like an unco whale in the shower on friday morning, got a lovely - probably broken - toe & my whole left side complains when I move. Cant believe I managed to make it to 38wks in my 3RD pregnancy before falling over :rofl: Luckily the boys werent in the shower with me otherwise there would have been 3 casualties (cause I would have fallen on them, I take up about 3/4 of the shower room haha). Only upside to stacking it - it flipped him from posterior and made him engage a little. Was so hoping Id go into labour though *sigh* Kid just doesnt get the hint ay. If I go 2wks over I'll be hanging myself with the phone cord, bugger everyone else ;)

how early do people start using night nappies? is it age based or more "OMG the baby finally slept more than 2 hours, we need a night nappy" kinda thing?? i've been looking at night naps but not wanting to get them in small sizes and find that we could have gotten away with "normal" nappies kwim?:

glad it's not just me! i think i've read a few times about people not using night naps til baby is older and sleeping longer, but i can't recall for sure!:

Depends on how you want to do it BG - Miss M is still getting changed at her 10pm feed so doesn't really require a night nappy as such. She is fine in a BBB with wool cover. Although when she drops that feed, then we'll probably put her in a snoozywun cos the medium goes from 7kg.
Some people feed and don't change their kid, so then they are in it for like, 12 hours or whatever, so need something heavy duty. We change her cos it doesn't matter if we wake her up cos she puts herself back to sleep anyway. if she wasn't so good at self settling, then we would probably think about not waking her up.

It goes baby by baby... none of mine have slept through as early as Harmony has. She cluster feeds for a few hrs between 6.30 and 10.30 each night, nappy change, and doesn't wake up till 5 or later, so needs a more heavy duty nappy!!! :D

I use BBB's as a night nappy :) I did with Caleb till he needed something more and then got a few night nappies. Ruby sleeps in them overnight for 12 or so hours and they aren't full at all. Take the wait and see approach there I say ;)
I used night nappies on Iain from about 2 months I think. I was using BBH's for a little bit but once he was too big to fold down the nappy the fit just wasn't right so I have sold those.
I only change overnight for poo's
So I guess I ue a night nappy when the overnight poo's stop.

am hoping i have a good sleeper like i was as a bubba (sleeping through 10 hours at six weeks) - or one like daddy is now (that can sleep through anything anytime) - i'm a shocker now for sleeping so here's hoping i don't get a Gremlin like her mummy!
just found another pair of flongies i like (bloody cow stuff!) - will have to wait for daddy to be home to decide if i'm gonna get or not... then i can blame him for having no money (but a very cute lookin kidlet!)

it's only been in the last few weeks i've needed a night nappy, Elise has been sleeping through from 830pm til 6-7 am for the last mth or so.
i was just using BBB but that wasn't holding so now I have to boost it with a bamboo prefold and a hemp booster otherwise we get compression leaks.
I have a GF night nappy on order, hopefully it won't be quite so bulky on her.
I would say wait and see with the night nappy cause then your more likely to get something in right size, fit and absorbency.

PB - The dilemma is that if you show him and he says no then you may not be able ot get away with telling him it was a gift if you do buy it. But if you show him and he says yes then there is no need to tell him that it was a gift. Which do you think is more likely? It is a goregous nappy and SO you though.
I want to prewash the newborn stuff but I think I need to wait for DH to help me with it. I will be in trouble if I try picking up the basket to hang them out. I am thinking a I might do 2 prewashes on them.
Got a lovely email - a certain shipment has arrived!!! Very exciting!! but I need to wait. I must get a bling and then that is it until the ATO either puts a deposit in my account or sends me a cheque for working last year.
Are WC doing the hunt discount?
