oh wow i dont get online for a couple of days cause Dh has been a computer hog and wow i miss out on so much..

I managed to get a cow ib too, so yeah
My Maz lullaby lasted my dear ds all night with no leaks and still dry in the morning. He sleeps 11 hours so he had it on for more then 12 hours and it didnt leak...YEAH.

I am so loving having my boy in cloth, my family think im nuts but i get such a kick out of them.. .I even love washing them

i still love washing them too and putting them all back together.

I have never got outbid emails on B4B so didn't realise I was missing out! I always loose things because I forget to check. Oh well

Glad you all got the IB you wanted. I hate them atm, mine are all so grey. I even left one in the sun for a week and it's still badly stained. The ONLY nappies that I have that stain so I am so over them.

spent most of today sorting the stash we no longer need, finding it sad, saying goodbye to these, i have to admit that i won't be having another bilby, to put our lovely mcn and woollies on. 28 months went so fast. So enjoy the fluff while you can girls!

No nappy news here. DS did a lovely morning poop in his night nappy before we got a chance to take it off him this morning, so now it stinks of pee and poop!!! Luckily DH changed him before he left for work.. bwahahahahaha

Lea, if you look on the right hand side of the home page...go down to itti bitti info...then click on Payment Information it will explain in there about layby.

Pretty much just let them know when you place your order that you want to layby.

Gigi it's "Landscape Dye" that you use for wool. They have the most gorgeous colours!

I got 3 IB's. Red dot, pink dot and cow. I didn't think they were going to be rare like other nappies. After all of the fuss and tanties people used to chuck over IB's a couple of years ago before they were mass produced, I doubt they'd do that to themselves again ;) It's nice that there is enough to give everyone a chance!

I just checked and there is only one sold out...the medium red dots. So I didn't really need to sit the refreshing, trying to score one first, PMSL. Oh well, it was good practice I suppose...:lol:

how do you sell nappies on FB?

Was very tempted to get some IB's last night, but I refrained :doh: Very tempted to have another look and see whats left, but I really shouldn't!

Kim sold some on FB by just PM'ing all the girls with kids... LOL. then people responded with what they wanted. No selling fees that way either...

DD christened her NN last night so i needed a sposie and she has the worst rash now... the whole area is bright red just from 1 ... GRRRRRR... Need to get more so i can avoid this in future... There is prob a thread somewhere but what cream can i use with the cloth??? i gave her some free time and then wasnt sure what touse with the MCN's so put another posie on lathered her up... just hope i havent made it worse by using another sposie...

Also i have no wet bag... Was thinking i could maybe make one myself>??? what kind of material could i use?? I'm hoping for a sewing machine for Mothers day so might be my 1st experiment.

jess - google moogoo! Otherwise, you can use pawpaw ointment but NOT the one in the red tub/tube. Use a liner and be careful where you're slathering and you can still use the zinc based creams...

wetbags, usually made from PUL, and closed with a zip so they're waterproof and smellproof. There's lots of lovely designs around you could probably have a go at making one if you can get the PUL fabric.

DS wet thru his NN again last night. Not impressed. Where's my GF super NN??? Need it now!

Well another BumG has bitten the dust. Really dont like the elastic in them. DH is not so worried about those ones cos they were swapsies. Out of 4 BumGs I paid for 1.

DH went back to work today. Girls are at daycare and I am so glad we finally found the lid for the smaller bucket. They dont need one of my big buckets for 6 nappies!!

I don't mind the BBB, haven't tried the hemp ones, but their PUL wraps/covers cut into DS's thighs really badly and leave big welts that look like burns! And they don't have gussets :(

Fluffy mail...the mini lala has arrived! Its very pretty. Its an unusal colour, it looked kind of pink in pics and then redish but it is an orangy pink on a cream background. We don't have any clothes or baby legs that match!!!

So if you are selling naps on FB can you say so here or is that against the rules?

Eej - Yellow and Black are OK. I found the yellow 1 at a health food shop up here. The one in chemists is usually only the red one which is a PITA!! The tube for the yellow 1 is tiny.

Jess - anything without petrochemicals should be ok. The only thing I have found at the chemist that didnt mark or transfer to the nappies was bepanthen ointment, but I try to avoid using that because it CAN transfer. If you are desperate you could even use lanolin, but you may have to scrub it off the nappies. If you use it though do a hot wash to have the best chance at getting it off. Moogoo is not used often at our house because Em reacts to it. Leah will get to use it though.

Speaking of Moogoo - Must ask DH if he wants more of the soap. His dermatits seems to be flaring again :(

i looked at the itti bitti LE's last night, and when i couldn't decide exactly what i wanted, and didn't want to overboard - well, i just decided not to buy any! scary thought. i really must be under the weather....


for those who use flats at home - i can't find flannel flats around here in the major stores (have checked kmart, big w and target - they only have terry flats) - where did you get them? i THOUGHT they'd be easy to find - living in the sticks has it's disadvantages - why is it so damn hard to find something so damn simple (hmmmmm, maybe that's why i didn't get the itti's last night - too depressed about putting myself through pain to go shopping for nappies that i couldn't get!)
