Nelle & AJP, I hope I find cloth easy... and won't get down on myself if I do need to use a sposie here and there - I think I have been misunderstood though my post was more about how do I resist the temptation of using sposies just because they are there - I think if I do recieve any I will stash them at mums - that way if I need them I can go get them or have them brought to me but they won't be right there playing on my mind - kind of like they won't be sitting there as a massive temptation

Lol I hope that makes sense - it is hard to write down what I am trying to say

NaNa - have a good holiday!!!!!!

TK - even if you do have to use a sposie, don't think of it like failing - think of it as surviving

No nappy news here - I'm at work. And norty cos I'm here. Whoops!

WOTB's: Dunno but as long as I'm not changing the crappy nappies - me don't care!!

I think I missed an entire thread in my absence. Is everyone here, hope I haven't missed anything too exciting as I don't have time to read them all.

Well, I had totally given up on my Iishfly Ladybird getting to me (over 3 weeks ago, no response to my email, thought must have been lost in post) And then, today, it arrived , with an additional funky olive/floral nappy - WOOT WOOT!!! Now THAT's a fluff fix!!!

    Hi ladies!

I know I always say it, but this thread moves way too fast.

BG - I'm slack and don't venture out of this thread so Congratulations hun on the arrival of your gorgeous little gremlin. Can't wait to see photos, can someone show me photos?

Kitt3n - So glad you've rejoined us hun, missed u

Fluff - stop teasing me with comments about drinking with Maz.

NaNa - So jealous about your trip, enjoy it! I too want to see photos of the Pot-o-Gold in as many countries as possible hehehe Would love to see the eiffel tower in the background - pot-o-gold front and centre of course.

Arimeh - I think lots of work hours are lost to facebook and various forums these days. I'd hate to be an employer, knowing how much time my employees spent procrastinating on the internet on my time lol

Smoz - I hope you get everything under control. Take your time, stop and breathe.

Sas - yay on the fluffy mail, extra yay on the second fluff for free! AP is dodgy!

AJP - did Millie literally leak ON maz, or with a maz cover? lol if poor Maz copped a **** on her that would just be hilarious! Sorry maz

Nappy News: MIL and SIL are due to arrive tonight and it will be the first time they've seen DS in cloth. They didn't think I could do it, stick with it I mean. Oh how I love in-laws, NOT. No faith in me or my parenting skills what so ever. Always questioning my parenting decisions and nothing I do for DS is good enough, or what SHE did with HER children. *sigh*

WOPB: Zilch. In the shower with Daddy.

    Good Q SamiH,
How long does panadol stay in wee?
Like if I give Lil some tonight, when can I put him back in cloth?
He had his needles today, was tuff as in the doctors then yelled 1/2 the way home. Poor lil tacker, had to stop 3 times to stick dummy back in.

Not buying anymore fluff till expo.

WOLB Swaddlebees AIO pocket, OMGoodness, that badboy held up for 12 hrs last night, soo impressed AND it is a medium, so he is ridin high.

I've given Elise panadol quite a few times now and I haven't had a stain from it yet on any nappy.
I think it might be a case of "if the conditions are right" then you will get a stain.
Maybe it's if they have had it more than once in a certain time, the acidity of their wee, I dunno, but I've not got a stain from it yet and there have been days where I've given it to her a few times.

Quick question- are pop-ins a brand of nappy or something that you 'pop-in' another nappy? if they are a brand, what are they like as a nappy?

Ah Maz, Ripley is 13.5kgs. Would be cool to get a pic of their two little jan 08 chub butts in cloth one day (as long as Rip doesnt have to smile with his missing front tooth now lol)

Jett is 3 in Sept and 15.5kgs, River is 2mths and 6.2kgs already! I cant believe they are as big as, or bigger, than some kids way older than them. I wouldnt know what to do with a normal size kid lol I pick up friends little ones that weigh less than mine and remember what it feels like to hold something lightweight.

Speaking of weight and MCN, I think Ripley is getting a bit to chunky round the waist for the itti's. Suddenly having trouble getting them to stay done up even on the outermost snaps. Crap.

They are a brand - and I love em. They have leg gussets. 'nuff said
