They are pretty tall kids for their ages CM so they dont look overly chunky, just very largeJett weighed himself today at the chemist and he is 16kg (holy moly) so technically he should be outgrowing all our nappies and while the Itti's are a tad tight on him I can do them up without a fight, but because Ripley is built like a tank (whereas Jett is more streamline like Dh) they give me grief getting them snapped. So I think its a bodyshape issue too.

Kat, thanx for that, I knew that the goats was more digestible, but didnt know about the beef thing in the other formulas. I will have to do more research. I should be more on top of what I put in my kids mouth

Got a tester MCN and it has cut in to DD's legs a bit. Now it has turned to eczema. so now other MCNs r rubbing the same spot cos it is already inflamed...
At what age do u all start to introduce the potty??? I ket DD sit on hers and things but when do u start to introduce a routine for the potty (if any) DD is always wanting her nappy off and will scream until i take it off... i think "oh she must be wet but she can do like 1 wee and want it off...

- nappies that FIT him well (you are the best judge of that, you see him in them)
- nappies you feel are BULLETPROOF on him e.g never leak (you are the best judge of that, cos if they leak, YOU clean it up, WEAR it etc LOL
- if his poos are pastey, my suggestion would be pockets, ai2s (with flushable liners laid inside).
- if you are still at the explosive poo everywhere stage, i would stick with whatever gets you good results at home, if that's fitteds and covers, stay with that.
one extra thing, is WORTH it, if it means NO LEAKS. esp when you're not at home.
we went for three days in Jan, EVERY wetbag i owned came with (and was needed).
flushable liners WERE DA BOMB on my two year old. only way i coudl get thru it WITHOUT the little squirt.
i brought stuff with me, intending to use motel laundry room, but the trip was so busy/quick, ended up bring all the used nappies home again (in the big Swaddlebee pail liner size wetbag) packed in my suitcase. They needed TWO washes when i got home, i have never left the nappies THAT long without a wash before.
so - HUGE wetbag for motel room, wherever you stay
- day wetbag to go with you (e.g size of the baby beehind one)
- another one in the car, for when you have the first wetbag full, and are not ready to go back to your accomodation (so you are only carrying around a day sized one with you, at a time).
we used a night nappy for each air flight, had spare pockets in our cabin luggage (in case suitcase got lost/delayed).
by the time you get there early to board, wait in lines, lots of waiting around, actual flight, collecting luggage, finding hire car place, lines, going slower cos you got a bub with you - all that adds up to longer time in the nappy. SO i'm very grateful for the NIGHT NAPPY ON PLANE tip i read about - it worked. (thanks Jayne).
the nappy i took off bilby, before we took car to airport, left that in a bucket of water. i did a nappy load at midnight before we left the next morning.
it was more do-able than i had imagined.
i was glad NOT to need to use the onboard toilet to change bilby in - that just didn't come up. everyone tells me it's a miniscule area to change a bub.

for info about toilet training, i found the Tribal baby website very useful. even though i didn't EC bilby, i found lots of the EC techniques, were useful to tt bilbs.
my friend used the "3daypottytraining" ebook online, and that trained her 22 months old boy (in three days). it's like Potty Training Boot Camp, you get online coaching too.
i would follow her cues, if she's interested, that's the best time to try tt-ing. (when she's motivated).

havings leaks with my CT coutures - they have some leg gape - any advice on how I should snap them differently? Some chubb on thighs, but not really around the waist .... bit lost

The goat milk is NOT sourced in Australia it is sourced outside of Australia as here in oz Goats milk is NOT as dominant as cows milk and not in HIGH enough demand, hence why goats milk is $$$$$$
Anyways back to nappies.. i sooo wish i had lots of $$$ to nab an abby gro tonightmaybe next time....

Sammi We had a massive leak in a CT today! DH put in on her so i'm not sure what he did, he normally puts BGs on her and hadn't put a CT on before. She had poo'd in it but it was wee that had leaked out all over his lap at the shops!!!

Anna Ripley sure is a big fella to be busting out of his ittis. You might find honeyboys to be a good fit for him as they are a bigger cut. The drawback is they are a bit bulkier.

Kat, ok, well it cant be the difference in brands, cause he was already on karicare (HA AR). But any ways, I just seems to sit happier in his gut (and the osteo is a legend)
I wonder if the smelly wees is just a growing thing. I must admit I am def noticing it on the morning nappies, but then again he is peeing bigger amounts now too.

I was thinking about the wee factor hon with your nappies...you might have to strip wash them once a month if he's wee is bad...I had the same problem with M to when he started teething and I can tell when he's not getting well cause his wee is toxic.
Howlong has he beenon the goat milk formula to hon? has his body gotten use to it yet? he may just react different to it to other kids.....from memory when Vy was on it, is made her pooh reack

Glad i have been laying low the last few days... I looked at the Abbey Grow stuff after i found out there was a stocking and they look great... Never heard of them before??? maybe i just missed the posts about them...
GiGi- DD is no where near TT yet but just figured i would start to get info ... My DS was always scared of the loo and still has "accidents" My DS was never intregued by the loo or potty like DD is. as soon as she poops she lets u know where as my DS wouldnt even give the slightest hint... If u said "have u done a poo, he look straight at u and say no or shake his head. Its so amazing how both kids are total opposites.
Ok so i was thinking of trying to make myself a nappy bucket liner/wet bag type thing. I have enough naps now to go 2 days without washing and if i am busy i wouldlike to be able to do that but cant stand the smell of them just in the bucket. Can someone tell me what material i can use?? i have a HH wet bag and its PUL with velcro closure but i think id just do like a draw string closure?? can i use fleece or something???

if there was anything in the nappy wash, that i was worried, might snag or catch on the open zipper teeth, i would put the inside out, open wetbag, into a zippered bag.

we NEEDED the night nappy last night, so glad i did not sell them yet. Seems weird we've had two months of NO night nappy, and now we are using them again. oh well, she is unwell and only 2.5. maybe i was rushing things. Learning as i go.

I scored an AG last night. Yellow and Black with the Bee on it. So gorgeous, I'm going to pick it up this afternoon. I think she had some issues with double selling items as a few items went into negative quantities. I know that mine double sold, because my best friend bought it as well lol Renee is beautiful though and is just making more to cover the double sold items.
My in-laws left today, HOORAY! Told me DS's nappies were "cute" but I could see their turned up noses

Who asked about washing wetbags? I do the same as the other girls, open inside out and in with the nappies. I used to be scared that I'd find bits of poop stuck in the bag or whatever but haven't had a problem yet.
Jess - I don't know about fleece and wetbags. Maz would probably be able to tell you more about that one. I would think that maybe since the bag is going to be sitting on the floor or whatever any nappies in the bottom might get compression leak onto the floor/carpet? I dunno, I probably just made that up lol
