    Hi girls!

Anna I hope everything is ok!?

Lea I was surprised at how much customs were too! My BoB one for Em is so simple and it cost $40

Gigi you are a good friend to help her along the MCN journey.

Good to see you in here BG. I hope little Emerald is being a gem for you ...hee hee sorry no pun intended.

CM- lol at fluffy undies cute.

Big Hello to you NaNa!!!! Wow first MCN user!!! Very cool.

Not a lot to report here. I did count my stash the other day cause it was all washed when Em was in sposies and I have 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even know how that happened...wait yes i do all you lovely enablers on here! But not bad when I only bought my first fluff in Feb of this year.

I also have 16 pairs of baby legs and that will be 17 when I pick up my Maz set form the PO today!!!! Too many????

ALIOOPS - good to hear from you, any word on WHEN your c-section will be? i know you're anxious to have as much time as you can, with Leah and your dh before he goes away.
I am getting induced on Monday if my cervix is favourable tomorrow (it is) and if the induction fails or things feel like there is something bad happening they will CS (they REALLY dont want to do elective CS!!) So around 6:30 Monday Morning the good old plastic crochet hook will be in use breaking my waters, and then we wait. I can't wait!!! DH has deferred his course, so he is going away in Feb instead, unless they can re-issue the paperwork (have a meeting today with someone who has in writing that he doesn't have to do the whole lot again, so she can use that to get the papers re-issued). Now to make that Nappy realated - The nappies come out to play on Monday if not before!!! Yay!!!

Anna - let me know if I can do anything, including taking your mind off it all. I hope I can start going to Gecko's soon, but I still dont have a pass to get on base

Nana - Well done hun. Even part time MCNing while OS is an achievement to me

Maz - I saw your FB pics of the meetup - Looks like you all had a great night!! Sheesh honey, you are going to need an employee to cut all your fabric soon!!! Wont be long and you will have OS requests!!

WOEB: Peapod with extra snaps. Still slight wing droop, but they only peek out now, rather than hanging all the way down her thighs.

Morning all - just a quick pop in. I'm at work this week, filling in for the bosses secretary - she wanted the week off, so here I am!! Dutifully working away.

EEJ - you can NEVER have too many baby legs. Although, I only have about.. umm.... 4 or 5 in my stash so I am wayyyyyyyyyyy behind you.. LOL

Maz does the middle east.. is that like Debbie does Dallas?

Lea - yeah they are expensive huh. I think it cos me $80 to get my two custom ones from GF too - then they didn't fit her properly so had to send them back again ($5 postage) and include another prepaid bag ($6 postage) so I could get them to fit. Ahh. Gotta love spending money!!!!! I think my BoB's were like, $75 or something for 2? Can't quite remember.

Anna - hope everything is ok mate

Not much going on here - other than work. Kids are with mum, and she's good, she'll keep them in cloth. My poor mum - she's putting up with two grumpy sick children today - DS got sick last night and Miss m is still sick so there was absolutely NO sleep in the house for us last night - considering I've had no sleep, I think i'm functioning quite well. Might need chocolate to keep me awake this arvo though.. haha. Wouldn't want to crash my mum's car on the way to get the kids!!!

WOTB's: Dunno but they would be wearing something different from what I originally put them in!

    Morning Ladies

    Hope everyone is well today.

Anna - if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. xx

NaNa - WOW! Great to hear from you. LOVE that you're showing off the pot-o-gold overseas - bet there are a lot of people trying to find them locally now Look forward to your next "pop in".

Arimeh - I hope your kids get better soon. There's nothing worse than sick children hey. Good on your mum for keeping up the cloth though.

PrettyButterfly - you've been AWOL from the thread for a little bit, hope all is well

Eej - 50 MCN for 4 months is pretty damn good. It's about 12 per month lol I think I started about January and I'm too afraid to count mine.

Maz - Glad to see you had a fantastic time at the meet up. I've been seeing random photos pop up on fb of the meet, looks like you ALL had a fab time. Bit sad to return home hey? lol

Nothing much going on here. Need to lanolise my soaker today, if I remember. Also need to measure DS for a pair of longies that I keep forgetting to do! OH and I taught myself how to knit yesterday, yay for me. All I've done is a rectangle about 20cm x 20cm lol sad isn't it.

WOPB: Pink IB - with confidence. DF actually said it looked good!

CM - That is a great effort!! A 20cm square can take ages!! I should get back into knitting the soaker I have started considering Em now only has 1 that fits, all the others are felted down to small/NB size. Might see if the path into the study is clear enough to get through to my knitting basket and jump back on NC for the pattern!!

Maz - Sent you a message on the other NC.

WOEB: CTBD and MAL 'Warning, 2 year old' cover
    WOSB: Zebra CT I think.

    hello ladies!

ali - wow i cant belive leah is almost here, its just soooo quick!!! wishing you al the best hun

eej - wow, where to start on fitteds? I didnt like the fit of baby beehinds at all, found kissaluvs a bit wide in the crotch (but NB are awesome) - I absolutely adore swaddlebees OSFM and their side snappers, also pookey pockets fitteds are absolutely lush (organic bamboo velour inners, super squishy sherpa on the outside). Whizz kids i find need extra boosting. Bits for bots are also nice.

PB - oooh that sounds LOVELY!!!! I hope you put some pics up, would love to see?

arimeh - I am so sorry to hear your gf's dont fit quite right. I am going to ask her for more info on her side snappers.

news here - laa's beautiful custom longies should be here soon, they are gorgeous (on ozebaby at knitsperations if you feel a lil voyerish)........ but a problem..... laa went to sleep in her sandman last night and when she woke up there were holes in the booster! any ideas why that could occur?

WOHB - swaddlebees osfm fitted (think there might be a suprise taking place as we speak!) / maz liquorice cover

    Hmmmm, yes

Just a quick one ladies - Hello everyone!

How do I clean zinc & castor oil cream out of my micro polar fleece liners? I have washed in hot water with dish washing detergent and they still feel oily! YUCK!! This is the first time I have tried a cheap zinc cream and wont be using it again!!

    BLERG!

    Thanks in advance.

Marlene - Felting is when the wool gets shrunk and cant be stretched. Drying in full sun or in the dryer can cause it. You can tell by looking at it if it was a hand knit because you can see where the fibres have joined and melted.

Well I went on Ebay and used some of my non-budget $$ (not much ) and now I have a wrap sling (Like a HAB but cheaper) on the way for Leah!! I got black so DH will wear it but that provides the more stable even wear for steadiness and holds her closer if I am still using the frame in the early days. I hope it arrives before Monday!!

Mum hasn't said anything about the nappies and has washed them and helped me put them together. I think that she understands that we can't really afford to be buying sposies, especially when we don't really need them, and can now finally see that they really aren't that much work. She washes them more regularly than DH though, so they are only getting half loads, because she doesn't like the wee smell (there is a nappy bucket not even being used!!).

CM - You can pop around any time for knitting help hun. You knitting too is inspiring me to keep going.

BG - Sounds like most NB's with nappy changes Great to hear eveything she has worn so far suits her!!

Thanks Ali...ok, another Q? Why would you purposely want the wool to felt? I was looking at some wool the other day at the shops and it said on the wrapper "suitable for felting".

WOJB...still the same as before. Won't change till morning
