Hope the apple juice ramifications don't last too long! I gave DD off yoghurt once (obviously not realising it was off) and the poor little thing threw up all night....maaaan did I feel BAD!

has anyone used the natural womem foaming Baby Wipe Solution????? i used to use bubblebubs but its getting too expensive!!
ll80 for disposible liner i have bummis, tots bots and another one :think: cant think of the name, for washable pop into spotlight and grab some microfibre and cut it up!!
I have flushable liners from Happy Babes, disposable liners from coles, and reusable liners (microfibre) cut up from spotlight. I prefer the washable ones :).
I just got back from having my 6 week pp checkup at the GP's. He was amazed to see a mcn on DD1's butt! Haha he thought the idea was brilliant but too much work.

We got Mazalicious goodies too - our THC and Bear night nappies. Ds1 was more interested in the strawberry scrumptious smelling soap and is now stomping around the house sniffing them singing 'Fruit Salad' song :rofl:
I had to bleach some of my boosters for some of the older two's nappies because they both did exploda-poops that stained EVERYTHING. No amount washes got the stains out, it was so gross. But a bit of a bleach soak worked a treat so now Im strip washing them and hopefully theyll be good as new.
Arimeh- they are newborn Bumgs, not the small, so they go something like 2.5kg to 5kg. I was just tempted as they work out at $10 each and are brand new! I may stick with prefolds!
Ahhh ok Katie... yeah I probably wouldn't bother with the newborn ones, unless you have really small bubs that don't gain weight quickly!! lol

I don't usually bother doing the housework during the day - DS just destroys any work I do immediately after. Although he is getting awfully good at emptying the dishwasher with me and holding the bottom drawer open so I can fill it again. Sometimes he's pretty useful :lol:

YUP same here... My DP is always having a go at me... lately though i have his Pffttt... attitude... He would NEVER put the nappies in the washing machine and put a wash cycle on let alone wash poop of fthem... He doesnt even change nappies... (even if they were sposies like he wants me to go back to... ) I had his mum ***** bout how unclean my house was (cos hers is always immaculate... HELLO 4 bedroom, lounge + rumpus for 2 people compared to 3 bd combined kitchen dinning lounge /computer room here... lol of couse the clutter makes it look unclean... If i we had her house it would look immaculate too... :(:

ROFL - DS just got a peg stuck to a small piece of skin on his hand. Left a pinch mark/indentation and he cried. To make it better he's rubbing it with his electric toothbrush.
Arimeh - Don't you love helpful kids. Except when their help is more of a hindrence. I'm one of those people that leaves the toys laying around everywhere etc. because I KNOW he will get them all straight back out... but after a while it just gets to me and I end up cleaning 4-5 times a day.

Hahaha - I was on the phone to my office manager just before (cos I forgot to put in a time sheet for last week) and noticed Miss M was going down the hallway, then sitting, then crawling, sitting- and leaving wet marks with her butt all the way down.. pmsl.. I'm like.. umm.. I'm gonna have to go cos Miss M is leaving butt marks on the hallway floor.. lol
She outwet a Snoozy - which was boosted with an extra bamboo booster!!!! Gawd this child can pee with the best of them. She still outwets her GF super nights (yes - SUPER nights) so I always have an extra booster on the outside of the nappy that usually gets wet as well. I think I'll need a bucket for this one when she gets older.

oh i truly appreciate my hubby but when I hear the stories you guys tell i just love him even more. he changes bums, puts nappies in the machine, cooks, cleans if i havent gotten round to it.... i truly have a gorgeous man.

HGL - you MIL sounds like an ignorant FW. Print out some info about cloth, the benefits etc and just hand it to her. If she still buggs you she obviously hasnt read it so you can just say "dont talk to me until you read the info!"
I am happy - now 2 nappies away from my perfect stash.... 2 more beetelbum ISO's and i will have the loveliest stash :)

maz - they are pushing through and are so bulgy - you can feel the edge of 2 but they just arent popping through - sitting there, taking their time, causing her much pain.

yes it was the eco bubs......do they need to be lanolised at all? what kind of inserts do they have eg bamboo or the other synthetic stuff? can someone disect on so to speak and give me a run down please
maz - yep we have matching ones. they really do work
ecobubs - no lanolising, they also have an inner layer of PUL. Microfleece inners, snaps are hidden (3 snaps on each side) - you can buy the microfibre insert or stuff with whatever you like. With current exchange rate you might be able to get them cheaper direct from NZ. the wool does pil a little but if you get the cream ones you cant notice it at all.
I have 2 smalls, 2 mediums and 4 larges put aside. so yes, i love them. the leg holes are a really nice fit.

But DH just enabled me so I got two of the IB seconds... I think I have just made up my stash of 24 nappies in a range of pockets, fitted, AI2's from a number of brands with extra covers, boosters and flats. RIGHT - now I just need a baby to put them on!

i'm another one with a good hubby - he helps (more often than not just DOES) everything - this morning he has done washing, hung out some of bubba's clean clothes, cooked brekki, done dishes, and helped bath her. he's in the process now of putting the pram in the car so we can go out. gotta love him!
