yep genessa forge hun. I love them!

Hi everyone
Fluffy mail here - my last for a while until Z-man grows and I can justify moving a size which will be a while - 2 Dlish - Midnight and Peppermint arrived .... already washed ;)
I think my DH loves them as much as I do - so do my kids!! They love going into his room when I ask them to help and go and get mummy another nappy - what an incentive hehehehe
WOZB - Red HH - but been on for 2.5 hours - he is asleep - hope it holds up
Does anyone know if the size of a snap-in insert is usually smaller than, say, an insert for a pocket? My Iish Fly look great, but the snap in insert is 7 cm wide at the narrowest, it is tiny! It is a OSFA, and the snap ins look small now on a newborn... imagine what they will be like on a toddler?!?! Would the IB's be any wider?
The IF booster system is really quite weird - I have a few (three) and I have to say its not my favourite, I keep thinking that the poop is going to go wayyyy off the inserts onto the shell, and then has a potential to leak (which hasn't happened yet, but I could imagine it happening with newborn explosions!). Ittis are wider :) They don't do that wavy stuff either - well thats why my IF do.
Took DS to the eye specialist today - they said his eye doesn't turn in (hmmm I think it does, and anyone who has seen my latest pics on FB would see for themselves that it does turn in) but they said they are fine, but he is mildly longsighted, so we need to go back there for a check up in 2 years. 2 hours waiting, and thats the result. pfffft. I think it really wore him out, he fell asleep in the car, and is still asleep now.
Nappy related. Um. he's in a pop in and has been since 9.30 and I'm hoping to god it doesn't leak on the couch.
WOAB: Said pop in.
WOMB: Green BumG.
BG hon Im so glad that its all working well for you :) you'll be right with your c/s hon...shiat I drove the car the day after I got out of hospital and had to rearrange my cupbaords after MIL tried to do me a favour and clean them for me ....might have to get the embroidery machine out for a certain bum's christening ;)
SIMONE heheheheheh SMOZ - mynappies are finally in the sun!! WOO HOOOO maybe they wont look so grey
Cant say I liked the IF snap system to much...did my head in lol
Mel - WTF????? going to go looksie at pics now.
OH and I jsut booked accomodation in Bel...bell something near New castle for our trip home in September
I got fluffy mail! 3 Cushie Tushies with a wet bag, a wool soaker and a twinkle lily. Already popped them into the wash to start their prewashes. Ah, cant wait for this bubs to be born to start using all this fluff!
well i have come to the conclusion...no more bubbas here for me :(
so...to sell on my smaller nappies....to make way for more nappies that will fit Jack NOW and later....
how sad is it??? i feel like crying because i MUST part with fluff...
WHAT?!?!!?!?!?!? why no more bubbas? :(
KAT  I find it hard to hon......keep a NB or 2 for the memories babe..I found some 00000 singlets of Mateauz the other day and had a good cry
i feel like i'm recovering fantastically from the c/s maz - much better than i expected! just had a couple of little things happen that have worried DH more than me (clot the size of my fist last week) so he's making sure he does as much as he can before he leaves so there is minimal for me to do while he's away - we're going to do some cooking this arvo (if E ever crashes - she's just laying there wide awake) so that we have meals in the freezer for me, some muffins and things - to take as much pressure off me as possible...
nappy related - she wet through the last nappy and cover while snoozing, so she's in a boring plain flat (top of the pile) and a Maz cover (think it's the one with the teddies embroidered on it)
ETA - fluff i agree - keep one or two spesh NB fluffy bits - it will make parting with the rest a little less heartbreaking. i don't know how i'll go selling off fluff EVER - my girl will be 15 and going crook cos the stash is still in her bedroom... sorry to hear you've made the decision to have no more - it's something DH and I have been discussing as well and it's damn hard
to be honest..i don't have any NB nappies left here i have already gotten rid of them...
I am just not coping so DH has said definatly no more bubbas...this last pregnancy/birth and now Jack has really taken it's toll on me...and i am just dealing with everything (even the smallest things) in the most agressive way....i am constantly angry and ALWAYS wanting to pick fights no matter what...
I need to lose weight and just can't be bothered..
Yep Mel...Jack is my last bubba :(
Ohhh nooo fluffy stuff  maybe you could go talk to someone about your anger? I have anger *isshoos* too
fluff - you sound so blue :( I'm not having any more either - just focus on all the little miracles Jack gives you - already pulling himself up etc - babies are hard work yes, but can give us so much joy as they grow into little people - as you know with your other two :)
The HH held up - phew! - I have started to have the CT coutures on him during awake time and not during nap time just in case they do continue to leak on me - see how that goes for a while ;)
WOZB - same as in my ticker photo ;)
It may sound funny but I'm already sad that I'll never have another first trimester being pregnant ever again... :(
Ahhh its hard when its your last - but you are really too busy with the other kids to really enjoy it and connect with your baby. Thank god I have an awesome birth support person this time round though - I think she's going to be a major difference in how this pans out.
That was not at all nappy related. Hmm. Ok, DS is still in his pop in - and still no leaks, and I haven't changed him yet (cos he's a whingy bum) so thats 9.30 - nearly 4pm. Hmm. I should change him.. LOL
IM sitting here now feeling sad and depressed....god what a time to get back in here
Mel woman I totally get ya hon....I was like that with Mateauz although we were referring to him as Khryztel then lol.....sorry to say it still feels empty knowing I will never feel another baby kicking in my, even though my pg's are worse then death
Nappy stuff  oh im gonna have to sell of my IB boo's soon :( someone is to big for them and has major plumbers crack in them
Arimeh - thank-you for speaking of your DS's long lasting pop-in... it reminded me that I need to change DS. Whadda ya know - there's shat squished everywhere. How did I not smell it you ask? He's been playing in the garden while I've been watering the vegies.
Fluff - I don't know how you feel knowing you're not having any more, but I wanted to offer you some **hugs**. You can still live vicariously through all of us and our fluffy mail though. I'd love to have a browse through your smaller nappies too ;)
For those of you that don't have Ali on facebook, she has updated her status a few times today. No Leah yet, still waiting :)
Maz - glad to see you're back and posting a bit lovey! Missed ya MWAH! Please don't shoot me yet but I have your singlets here waiting to be posted - err been sitting there for weeks. lol sorry!
WOPB: nothing, lying down watching wiggles naked for rest time. Nothing better than letting your balls breathe.
Bit cranky - Abby Gro stocking has been put off until tomorrow night now. I was getting all excited for tonight lol
Isn't it horrible when you know your being a b***h but it like there is nothing you can do to stop it.
I dont know if i did it as much before I was preg or if the preg just made me realise it. It makes me think what it must be like for kids who have anger ishews and know they are wigging out but cant help it kwim.
That said, anger/frustration/irritation are just some of the heightened emotions I have experienced since getting preg/having lil man. It all seems to get out of control/proprtion so easily.
Guess what I am trying to say, is i feel your pain Kat.
I am gunna sell Lil Mans nappies as he grows out of them. Not sure if I will have another kid, but if I do, then the fun part of being pregnant is buying all of the baby stuff anyway.;)
On another note, I really really dont need anymore nappies, but I just wanna buy some. Maybe going to the expo and just looking will be enough of a fix for me.
Prob not.....
Really want a bright pink one for him
WOLB Sposie :(-had his first full day of babysit at good MILs. She wouldnt say, but I think she is scared of mcns. So I dont want her to stress about a pooey one.
Daycare ladies ...
My centre uses disposables during the day - but I am supposed to send one for babies to go home in at night time ... dumb but anyway ....
I am not going to buy more disposables for this purpose - Zander will be going 2 days a week from mid August - should I send an easy aplix pocket etc - I have a couple of greenkids, Happy Heiny's I was thinking of using those ... thoughts???
Sami - I use my bumg's for Miss M for daycare, and my GK's and ecobubs for Aricyn - HTH.
OMG OMG OMG!!!!
I just hyenaded a large robot set on gossameer dreams
Ive got my fix...im shaking from excitment
nothing really interested me in the GD stocking....
Definatly need to get some more aplix closing nappies for nanny-goat to use whilst i am at work...any suggestions girls???
LOL Maz you did better than I ;) I tried for the Hawaiian two set but to no avail :(
 Kat
I was jumping between the hawaiian set (lol) the fitted and the robot set.....robot set just happen to come live at the right time  bout bloody time
KAT - there are some second hand bubblebubs on nappychic hon and some swaddlebees from memory
OMG I totally forgot about it!
NOT a big fan of the bubblebubs...i have 2...BUT then i suppose they are only for nanny goat/ daddy to use...
I got bloody tears in my eyes looking at Ali's princess on FB...my god she is perfect
she is definatly a little cutie :D although i would NOT have a clue how to look after a lil bubba...i am used to biggens...
Hi Girls
Isn't Leah adorable!!! I'm so pleased she is finally here! More NB fluff yay!
Good to see you back Maz! Yay for the GD score!
Fluff big hugs to you hun. I know for me my weight has always been directly related to my happiness so I kind of understand on that front.
We had a big leak from a CT basix today. My girl has turned into a very heavy wetter! We were out shopping and had just bought her some trackies which was lucky cause I didn't have any other clothes and had to put her in the spare sposie from the nappy bag cause I she had already had the change into the CT when we got to the shops and I only put the one in! Silly me! It was also the first time DH said anything against MCN's not being as good. I just ignored him :D
Oh yeah and I've changed my username! All my friends kids call me Ezy and friends call me Ez and my DH calls me Esme( as in Esme Watson from a country practice cause I'm nosy) so its a combo of that. Needed a change!
Gotta say that CT's didnt work well for us either :( they leaked after 1/2 an hour on big boy blue
Kat - im on a mission hon to lose 30kg by the end of the year.....we'll support each other chicky
Im so excited...i still gotta pinch myself that i got the auriel
What's this talk of losing weight girls? Let me in! TTC and I think my weight is probably a big issue as to why it's taking so long. Help me shift it :(
Leah is definitely gorgeous! Such a tiny baby, I've never met any nb that small before so should be interesting hehe I had an 8lb9oz boy.
I didn't even realise there was a GD stocking tonight, probably why the abby gro's were put off until tomorrow night?
WOPB: Rainbow Sandman & soaker.
i'll be on the weight loss kick too - had a nice start to it when i birthed the girl - am almost 20kg lighter now than i was pre pregnancy so i'm wanting to keep it up. wish it was autumn or spring - the idea of going out walking with Miss E just isn't appealling at the moment - too wet and cold!
nappy related - ummmmmm - nope - she's still in the same nappy as earlier - has been asleep for ages!
weight loss? I cant wait til my6 week check so I can start WW again. I feel horrible :( I relaly thought I had put on less this time than I did with Milo but when I got on the scales I was the same if not heavier than after I had him :( :(
So still about 25 kilos to lose :(
Just checking- is GF for Genesa Forge nappies? Or does it stand for something else? Are people generally happy with them? I just wanted to check prior to ordering some customs....
I know how that feels rayray - except even after giving birth to DS, when he was 6 months old I was 25kgs heavier than I was pre-preg. :( Damn that refrigerator being so close all the time.
ETA: Katie - yes GF is genesa forge. Lots of the girls here have them and I'm pretty sure they love them. I'm yet to get any.
Katie - Ive just had 6 custom minky AI2s made, they look and feel great, still washing them havent tried them out yet - I got medum so wil be waiting a month or so though DS2 is already 5.2kg and in 00 wondersuits.
Ok just wanted to ask you girls since you know all about cloth nappies. Has anyone heard of the nappy that goes from newborn until toilet training? Starts with the letter "R"
Just wanting to read and learn about cloth before i just buy stuff willy nilly when its time too.
Hi Caddie - could it be Rumparooz? i think they osfm
Julie x
I lost about 15 kg 1 year before getting preg
I have put it back on and then some since having him :(
Eating lots didnt bother me when I was UTD
But now I feel like a porker, back in the good ole days I would have had a ciggie when I was hungry - now I eat cupcakes :wall:
Oh well, 's prolly better than smoking...
Nappies..... am sending 8 or so down to my cuz to try, one of most things that I have, so we will be a little rationed for a week or so. But I have tons of fitteds ans I dont bother with covers when at home, I normally change him before he out pees them.
WOLB HH cheetah print
Yup Genesa Forge. Beautifully made nappies. However if you have skinny babies like mine, unless you get extra snaps put on (that you have to ask for in your custom) then you might get wing droop like I did.
I've found that front snappers only work for us if they have a minimum of three snaps - and most nappies are two. Gorgeous nappies though - the night time ones are great for heavy wetters.
WOTB's: both still in their night nappies. Only got up a little while ago after being beated and squished in bed all night surrounded by both children. For such little beings they take up more room in the bed than I do. At one stage there was only room for my head.
