oh CHARMLEA, i think you are being VERY generous to call that person a FRIEND of yours. Her behaviour sure doesn't meet MY definition of "friend".

If you are a sop about caterpillars for Gab, then i am a sop too, cos i am like that about anything bilby for my DD. I am keeping a pair of shorties that have a handembroidered bilby on them, for a keepsake box for my DD.

HeyGoodLooking - it IS hard to part with the MCN - i feel like they are our "old faithfuls", they worked so well, cheered me up, saved me loads of housework, so yes, i have and am finding it hard to "let go".

We went through maybe two months of EVERY night bilby waking up dry, and then all of a sudden, it stopped. SHe got sick and needed a night nappy EVERY night. Now she's well again, she's wetting in her sleep maybe 2 our ot 7 nights. i'm only using the night nappies now, when i've run out of night trainers, but i am glad i didn't sell them all earlier. I think i will sell the fitted night nappies, cos it's more inconvenient with two part night nappy system, with a child that goes to the toilet (doing them up vertically).

i must get off my backside and get brave, attempt to sew up some night pullups out of all the mcn sewing fabrics i bought (and then didn't make nappies out of!). I know they will look rough, cos i will only be able to use the sewing machine on them. I made the same pattern up, as COVERS before, but used an overlocker to do it, which makes it look very neat. I hate doing things half-well. but i'm finding it hard to get any sewing lessons, let alone overlocker lessons (supposedly, you get free lessons when you buy the machines). so many cancellations, since the machines were bought. the lessons were the clincher to me, i knew i wouldn't be able to use the machines WITHOUT lessons. After two lessons (very short ones, spread over four months!!) i can do basic sewing on the sewing machine, which is better than nothing. but gee whiz, i wish they wouldn't promise something they can't deliver on.

wotbb: imse vimse trainers (knickers with insurance LOL).

oh Saram, what size longies are you after? tell me more petal, if i can help, i will.

    Hello my clothie friends!!!

I've ordered more large ittis!!! Em's medium magicalls are getting a bit short on her so I don't think it will be long before we have to retire them.

    Not much else going on!

    Hey Girls!

Sorry for being a little slack with posting. My mother arrived last night and we were out shopping all day today - hard life isn't it lol

Everyone looking forward to the big toy sales starting tomorrow? I'm off to Big W for some specials for DS's birthday and christmas for him and my niece and nephews.

No nappy news: I feel like an intruder because he hasn't worn any. Oh no I lie, he still wears his night nappies. Does that mean I can stay in here?

first the vomit everywher and now the poo !!!
Sounds like Em's reactions to lactose hun, you have my empathy!! No fun!!

We are half way through the sposie packet, and Leah is getting some fat on her (after the weeks weigh-in gains she should!!) now that she is over birth weight. I can't believe she gained 440g in 1 week!! So once the sposies are finished that's it, cloth all the way. If I had bought more NB stuff though it would have arrived too late!! I do think they are good for the times that I can't get cloth to give the seal we need though.

    hey ladies!

lol @ CM - once an MCN addict always an MCN addict hun!

I have to thoroughly reccomend Sustainable Hemp Products - that sandman that I had trouble with, the booster - she is replacing (even though it wasnt made by her). She said that the bamboo must not have been up to scratch for that to happen in the first place! so yay - now have to email WC! maybe was from that dodgy batch, both of them? SHP are getting all of my business henceforth!

also, I have slowly been paying off a set of gf's in large - for when littlw laa grows out of her mediums, and they are almost done! I can;t wait to see what nikki came up with, i just gave her a rough guideline (she comes up with awesome ideas when you leave it to her!)

ali - so great on lea's weight gain, you must be so happy

teru - what did you score?

wohb - bundle of buns (brown paisley)
