Fluffy bubs is having a stocking on Sunday night. Ooo there is some pretty ones!!! And she is selling some nice minky if anyone is that way inclined to make their own.
Not really nappy related but kind of. A friend of my cousin's makes her clothes and toys and all sorts of things and today I recived the most gorgeous reversible pinny!! Its so pretty both sides are gorgeous here is the link from facebook for one side Login | Facebook . click a few pics along for the other. It might be the new birthday outfit if I can find a nappy for it!! Do you ladies think the vanilla cream hugaluggs leg ruffles will match?
She has also made the cutest monkey too for Emily!! I can't wait to get it!! Login | Facebook
CM - that sounds naaasty. Feel better soon. (Put a bucket next to your bed with a towell underneath it so you don't have to dash for the loo if sudden vomiting urge comes over you - you don't want to pass out by jumping up trying to make the mad dash)
Well, have just been sorting DD's 00 stuff into the outgrown plastic storage boxes - mainly because of her giant fluffy bottom being waaay too tight on her one-sies and pants Is it just me or is there a massive size difference between sizes.
AWWW CM. sux to be you at the moment
Sux a bit to be me too.
Lil manhas been getting worse at night, last nite was up 8 times between 12-5. Crying in his sleep
I think he might be teething, but I cant see any white bumps, just tons of drool and fist chewing with occasional red cheeks. Oh, and sometimes squirty bum
How long does this last for?
Nappy wise, Yay for the postie.
Got my Arimehs loot.
2 eco bubs. 1 pop in, 1 bubble bubs and 3 babylegs. Yay
Ordered lil man his teething necklace. My bracelet isnt knotted every stone so didnt want him wearing it, besides, doubled over its a bit tight anyway.
Need some ways of convincing dh to go cloth, dd been in sposies again as he wanted to see if going back a size would help, so she has gone threw 4 nappies since 8 this morning and a change of clothes due to leakage. He thinks it will cost to much as she is 12 months already.
I have just put her into a minkie magical for her nap, that a friend lent me.
hmmmmm, could you try buying second-hand nappies as that will be cheaper if that is his worry. So it might be a way of convincing him?? Seconds don't float with my DH tho, he gave me this appalled look when I broached seconds 'someone else has pooed in that, why would anyone buy that!'! (now you see what feeds my hepatitis fears) Or could you mention that you will be able to onsell them so will recoup some of the costs! AND some are so pretty that you won't want to put pants on bub in summer so you might not by as many clothes??
he doesn't mind the seconds idea, his major thing is the extra washing etc as with up to 7 kids in the house at anyone time i already do heaps. But i am looking at the fact that i am washing at least an extra load with her wetting threw.
I am trying to look at a cost analysis to show him.
SamiH, I was going to do that but say monday as he is at work tonight and tomorrow night till midnight. I have actually found I don't mind minkie magicals with snaps as long as you turn them inside out after while of drying
I spoke to a person at itti bitti and she reckons that mediums would be best bet since she is wearing smalls at the moment.
I was playing around with the sizes - and the large fits DD with two vacant snaps in the middle (she wasnt happy about trying it on LOL) - so I think the mediums would last you until R is TT!
Monday is fine - finished the last of my strip washing today with the sun YAY.
I know I have said it before, but Z always poo's in my Ecobubs!! One was on for about 15 mins today and i was about to scoot out the door for school pcikup - he started crying - big one to try and clean in one minute LOL - but achieved
Had to buy another wetbag today, thank goodness that Clothie Bumz is having a sale , I forgot with Z starting child care 2 days I will need another one in case he does poo in the morning and it is left in there all day - phooey I am sure that would stink when I got it home!

CHeeKy Monkey - sorry you are feeling so rubbish hon, hope you get better soonish.
SamiH - i started bilby at childcare (in mcn) at 16 months old. the centre requested flushable liners, and i supplied those. So at poo nappy change time, they lifted out the flushable liner and flushed it, so very little poo came home in the wetbag.
at the 2nd childcare centre we used, they had to be "reminded" alot of what flushable liners LOOKED like, and that YES, flushable liners can be flushed! but i persisted and they did it.
Even if your child has PASTEY poo (as opposed to firm poos), the flushable liners still work. it's when the poop is 100% runny that the flushable liners aren't worth using.
childcare workers wear gloves regardless of what type of nappy they are changing, so it's no diff to them.
my fave brands of flushable liners were bummis and tots bots. some other brands i tried previously, well the word "sandpaper" comes to mind, and they scrunched up heaps (so didn't work well, moved around too much when child walked).
wotbb: blueberry trainers with longies, she is completely in knickers in the daytime now. sniff. my big grown up bilby (well, in SOME ways).
Well bub been in cloth since yesterday, going to talk to dh today about doing it for real and buying some, she did leak a bit out of her night nappy, but thats is becuase the cover is to small.
Nothing to report here. Feeling a little better this morning after a good sleep but don't want to speak too soon.
I started my nappy strip-washing so I could pack them away - then got sick and forgot they were in the washing machine. So they stank it up SOOOOOOOO I had to put them on again and now they're on the line drying. Still about 3 loads to go. That's only my larges too.
well trying to convince dh is getting there though earlier did not help, had dd in an itti bitti but the ones I have 3 are missing the try fold so it leaked when she was asleep.
But I have compromised at the moment getting some mediums thanks to a BB girl and will try those before I buy any more.
Though this afternoon I bossted one with a bbh insert and it worked. Now she is down for another sleep in a small itti bitti with a trifold so hoping that works to.
i just won the MAL NN and a minkee cover on B4B...
I have also paid my layby off with Mel (Arimeh) 5 ecobubs coming to mumma very soon!!!
Thank gawd i got my tax refund!!!!!
