Charmalea, I have only every had wing drop once in the ittis, and this is all I use in the day time, I just make sure that they are all the way around neatly when doing the up and it hasn't happend since, I also have to put it on tighter than I though. DD wears medium with the wings done up so there are no snap spots missing in the middle, but not overlapping.

just want to share a little woo hoo - DD is 13 weeks today, and she's NEVER had a sposie on her little tushie! it's only a little one, but given we were given sposies when she was baptised 5 weeks ago, and i've been rather unwell a couple of times (like today), i'm quite proud of that effort!

congrats on your woo hoo Brigsy's Girl.

i aimed for that too, but an emergency c-section via ambulance, and a dh who REFUSED to bring the nb mcn into the hospital, put paid to that little fantasy. so her first five days (in hospital) were in bambo nature sposies.

    so confused!

Sorry this is probably posted somewhere but all the variety is making my head spin.

I live in a hot climate and really want to start using cloth nappies but i am a little confused by the variety.

Can anyone tell me a cute but practical all rounder for a little girl that wees alot? We are saving for a house so really don't have the cash to "test" everything. oh and I am really clumsy and suck at folding them so flats are last resort.

    Thanks in advance,
    Candy

    hey guys

was that a dragonfly magik stocking? they really are awesome, laa actually slept in one last night and was fine!! (thats what I was coming in to report actually!)

BG - laa has never worn a sposie either! almost 9 months

candy - welcome!! honestly, if you find one that suits your little one straight off you are very very lucky. A couple I would suggest are pop ins, blueberry pockets (as they are readily available and you can stuff them with as much as you need absorbency wise) and definately Genessa Forge. I think I am yet to meet anyone who does not have a love affair with GF's

    wohb - sugarshot! pocket

Kitten - something spesh arrived at my house so now I can play sometime next week

CL - Oh I hope that Gab wore her VHC auriel yesterday..happy birthday princess

I have a little boy telling me when he's doing number 2's im not ready for him to be out of nappies..its gonig to kill me.

now he's scratching at his bedroom door cause he doesnt want a day time sleep

maz , shes got all her special nappies lined up for her party on sundy !!!

Sweetpea - gabbi wears her ittis like that too , no snaps are exposed , i guess its hard to do a nappy up properly when she wont lie still on the change table !

well had gabbi weighed !!! 8.53 kgs , so its a 360 gm gain in 2 mths , i think is a record for her she is getting soo much fatter !! so hopefully now can wear her bigger nappies

charlottes mum , itti bittis and baby beehinds are they only nappies i use , (with a select few of special custom nappies ) but ittis and bbh are the bulk of my stash , esp the minky magic alls , they are the best all rounders for us , they are pockets , but not as you know them . they already have the absorbency sewn in with a pockekt at the back to add a small bamboo booster (it comes with the booster too!!) so you can use it with or with out the booster .

i use minky bbh magic alls over night on gabbi , i just add a night booster , so day and night wear!!! and only $25 a nappy , good value i reckon !!!

Charlotte's Mum - Whereabouts are you? I would be happy to let you try a few of our nappies to find what works well if you are in Townsville. I find they dry really well on the line in dry season (usually max of a day) but during wet season they are on airers under a fan inside.

I have about 15 loads of washing to do this weekend thanks to us all being sick. We are running out of nappies for Leah to wear and at the moment she is the only one in cloth!! But Em is healing up well, her blisters are almost nonexistant. You can see where they were but they aren't open any more. Gotta be really vigilant with her when there is food around!!

    Thanks for the info people.
Was looking at the magicalls. Little miss has quite a scrawny rear but huge belly so i am unsure on the sizing. She's almost 6 and a half kilos and still in newborn huggies O.O

Alioops- In Kalgoorlie so a little too far away but thanks for the offer!

    NaNa:
I used the x-small cover today and it worked a treat!! Thanks SO much for that! I can't wait to use the smalls as well!

We had mother's group today and all my mum's group are impressed that I'm using cloth with #2! There were two other mothers at the park as well who were SUPER impressed that I use cloth.

I can't brag that Jeremy has NEVER been in a sposie (used them in hospital as well as the odd day here and there when I get behund on laundry) but I would say he has been in cloth 95% of his life so that is pretty good.

Not much else to report - just got home about an hour ago and thankfully my best friend brought a lasagne over for us for dinner so I'm pretty relaxed and happy tonight. Just doing a couple loads of laundry as one of DH's clients bought Jeremy stacks of clothes!!
