Mel, that nappy is devine
which brings me to my next question ladies
I would really love to buy a special nappy for my boy , either a custom or nice embroided.
any recommendations ?
hi, just so I dont miss this thread subscribing in the lazy way
Fluff - 80 nappies for one baby - man that is soooooo many, how long does it take you to get through them? And I am not being mean, but why have so many (yes I know they are pretty and addictive etc - but he would only wear each one once a week nearly I recounted and I do have 28 LOL but that is my limit - but I spose I have only been doing cloth for 4 months ....
Well except for a sposie last night bub has been in cloth for two days and my nappies dried overnight so in them again today, yeah. 3 days in a row.
And the BBh bamboo is dry for tonight, that is what i am using and covers for night time. At this point she doesn't out wet them. Though I do find they smell by morning, is this normal.
WORB emerald minkie magical. She is having her morning sleep.
well Ash has 130, and he doesn't wear them all in a week but it's nice to have a wide range, and I can pack up the extra special ones for going out, we get LOTS of compliments and every outfit has a matching nappy or 2
I don't have anything else to spend my money on really, the kids have an oversupply of toys and clothes, and atleast with nappies I can onsell
I'm attempting to make my first AIO nappy but I need some PUL. I understand you can only buy this online, yeah? And where would I get it the cheapest? Are there different 'grades' of PUL and what should I avoid? Just want the cheapest so plain white I guess as it will be the hidden layer. is bubba earth a good store to buy it? or if someone can direct me to a website with all the info on PUL that would help too!
I also only want to buy a few pieces to practise on and not in bulk. (yet).
Cheers xx
WOAB: yucky Sposie & bum cream she has a bad rash.
There is a shop in USA (Wazoodle or something) that sells 4 PUL diaper cuts in different colours for about $9 USA I don't know what they will charge you for the shipping, but check it out. I'm saving big time to get me some
Then Aus have a site called Nappies Covered (??) can't think right now ... they also sell per meter, have prints and something called a sandwich PUL that is more $$$ but sounds like it might be fun to work with. They also sell nappy sewing kits ...
Hmmmm... found a site last week .... pul dot com dot au that sells ALLLLLL sorts of PUL AND free postage for a limited time ... JUMP HUN!!!!
Shanti- check out the "cloth nappy shop" shes in kingston in bris and is super helpful and cheap enough , she has minky , laminated minky , PUL , laminated PUL and sandwich PUL !! ( i went there yesterday )
and if you tell her what your after and she will help ! , maybe give her a call or email ( the contact us section of her website) , she'll always answer , her name is Bek ! tell her Lea sent you

Thanks for the hugs and wine girls. I definitely needed it yesterday that's for sure. Not just the doctors but the whole bloody day went to sh*t.
So many things went wrong, I just had to sit and have my little cry a few times to let it out.
Good news - my mum will be back in two sleeps, and my sister and her family who I love and adore and miss so very very much will be here in 6 sleeps.
On top of all of my bad stuff DS got diarrhea yesterday, lovely. He couldn't control it and twice exploded in his undies. Luckily his shorts contained it but I forgot how yucky it was to clean poop. Especially runny mucousy poop.
Anyone got any fluffy mail to make me feel better today?
i dont have fluffy mail today, but i'll have one coming next week. I managed to score a CGR last night! no more stockings for me, ones enough (im easily satisfied LOL)
Is the Brauers Nappy Rash Relief cream safe for MCN's?? Would I need to use it with a liner or would it be fine just on its own? (i dont like liners lol)
Is it just the creams with Zinc in them that are bad for MCNs?
TK - yeah, they're the ones I use now if I'm going on long trips or planes (who has room in their luggage to pack nappies ay) they're heaps cheaper than huggies. You wouldn't know my DD was that tiny born now though, she's so tall and has nice cheeks all over - time goes by too fast - enjoy the tiny dilemmas while they last. Let me know if you find something that works well in cloth for little'uns . . I'm hoping to grow a bigger bub next time but you never know and want to use cloth from home-time if possible with #2.
Ren - I don't know that brand, but if it rubs into your skin clear and/or rinses off easily with just water it should be fine, if it leaves a filmy barrier or cream on your skin you'll need to use a liner.
Well I discovered DH hadn't changed Elly's bott since I left for work!!! Just as well she was in her GF NN, poor wet bottom.
Fingers crossed I have fluffy mail in the form of a GF whe. I get home !!
I had a tiny nb and the nb magic alls worked good as I could wrap it tght around her teeny tummy ! Pookey pockt newborn nappies were awessone as you snappi them , still got em if ur interested tk
