Shell - Glad your little man approves of the IB. He obviously thinks it can stand up to his poop!

Just got back from the Dr's. I hate how you KNOW what's wrong, but they must test for EVERYTHING before diagnosing you. Result is I'm not ovulating (WELL DURRRRR) and I'm not getting periods (WELL DOUBLE DURRRR) so I've now been referred to a FS. Took her 5 appointments to tell me what I already knew, I hate that. Oh and as always they throw in the "lose weight" line as well. Why must weight be the cause of EVERY GODAMN medical problem. Idiots.

Oh no nappy news - won't be for a long time unfortunately

*hands CM a glass of wine*
At least you can have this if your'e not Oing (wanted to give you a hug but the fkn smilies are broken)
Man I feel your pain on the weight loss deal. Am currently haulin my fat ass all over the neighbourhood at 7 every morning trying to loose my baby butt.
As far as I am concerned, the 2 big pros to being UTD are, A)buying nappies guilt free and B)its the one time in your life when getting fatter is a good thing.
I ate so much crap when I was preggo, just cause I could, kinda wish I hadnt now.....

    No more poos so far

WOLB cheeky butts thingy, soon to be prolly an IB

    Hi girls!

I'm attempting to make my first AIO nappy but I need some PUL. I understand you can only buy this online, yeah? And where would I get it the cheapest? Are there different 'grades' of PUL and what should I avoid? Just want the cheapest so plain white I guess as it will be the hidden layer. is bubba earth a good store to buy it? or if someone can direct me to a website with all the info on PUL that would help too!
I also only want to buy a few pieces to practise on and not in bulk. (yet).

    Cheers xx

WOAB: yucky Sposie & bum cream she has a bad rash.

    Ren,

There is a shop in USA (Wazoodle or something) that sells 4 PUL diaper cuts in different colours for about $9 USA I don't know what they will charge you for the shipping, but check it out. I'm saving big time to get me some

Then Aus have a site called Nappies Covered (??) can't think right now ... they also sell per meter, have prints and something called a sandwich PUL that is more $$$ but sounds like it might be fun to work with. They also sell nappy sewing kits ...

Hmmmm... found a site last week .... pul dot com dot au that sells ALLLLLL sorts of PUL AND free postage for a limited time ... JUMP HUN!!!!

Thanks for the hugs and wine girls. I definitely needed it yesterday that's for sure. Not just the doctors but the whole bloody day went to sh*t.

So many things went wrong, I just had to sit and have my little cry a few times to let it out.

Good news - my mum will be back in two sleeps, and my sister and her family who I love and adore and miss so very very much will be here in 6 sleeps.

On top of all of my bad stuff DS got diarrhea yesterday, lovely. He couldn't control it and twice exploded in his undies. Luckily his shorts contained it but I forgot how yucky it was to clean poop. Especially runny mucousy poop.

Anyone got any fluffy mail to make me feel better today?

Hmm Miss M must think her name is "uh ahhh"

And Aricyn must think his name is "FFS!!!!"
Lol, Arimeh, I say that to my dog when he's about to do something naughty.. actually come to think of it i give him the FFS treatment too. DF gives me crap about it all the time. I'm sure "uhaah's" going to be passed down as a "name" to this bub, too.

I just scored a bargain from your shop too! Fanks! You should move more often

Well I have been *trying* to research different cloth nappies like crazy and I don't know how you girls do it. I think my head is going to explode

ooh thats a hard choice Sami... I wish I had more pop-ins personally though, I only have two. I sold all my ittis ages ago - except for three sewn in ones, that I may have to do something drastic with (ie - throw out!)

Thanks Lea! I'm on the GC though... bit too far to drive up that way unless i've got something else on up that way I guess... I've heard of that shop. thanks.

Nadine - thanks also. Will check out that website!!

So far Earth Bubba seems good.

SamiH - oooooh that IS a hard choice to make. I love my pop-ins (great night nappy here) and also my IB's... I wish I'd bought IB's last year instead of Peapods....never mind.

Does anyone know what the re-sale value is like on a Peapod MCN?? I am looking to sell some of them as they don't fit DD as nicely anymore around the legs....that, and I have so many MCN's now.... LOL

Ren I don't think they are fantastic with their re-sale value mate.. most people are scared off because of the reviews. Give it a go though!
