Hi girls!! Haven't posted in ages!! Good to see you back maz and Mel I don't think I said that when u came back.
Our lappy is brokne and I'm devo. emily pushed it off the footstoool onto the floor and the screen has shat itself. Its needs a whole new one

Kitt3n I just adore the pics of Laa in the Maz ladybug outfit! Devine!

Nappy news hmmm... Em is just about grown out of her medium BBh magicalls. I ahve a few large ittis but her belly is too big and they sit really low. I think I'll try some large magicalls.
I had an awesome time helping at the CT stand at the Sydney baby show last weekend. I even sold some which was a great feeling!!!
Emily is walking everywhere now so bring on summer dresses and showing off all the fluff!

BRIGSY - Emerald might fit the RISE of a medium, but be the kgs of the SMALL.
sometimes you need to go up to a size that sounds too big for your bub, in order to get teh rise they need.

this is mentioned on the itti bitti site (as an example), to help people pick the right size.

RHYB - would you enjoy the hunt more if you just BROWSED, instead of searching for icons? i don't know if you are feeling well enough to sit at the computer, in the first place, just an idea.

bamboo mandy macs are at a rock bottom price, due to that person relocating, that's one bargain that stuck in my mind. They are a OSFA fitted, so you would need covers with those, they do up with a snappi.

KITTEN - LOVE LOVE LOVE the ladybird photos! woot!

    EZYMAY - welcome back!

DOLLYROUX - we had success with the Imse Vimse swim nappy - one hip is sewn up and the other hip, side snap opening. I tried the aplix closing swim nappy - didn't like that - the aplix snagged MY bathers, not happy jan. The whole concept only works if you get good LEG SEAL. lack of gape is very important. We only started using them when DD was about one, so i don't know what to suggest if you want them for a younger bub (still with runny poos i mean).

bilby is FINALLY fitting into the size 2/3 knickers (boys and girls types) that you get at kmart/bigw/target etc. she's now 13.5kg. So that big pile i got for her toilet training many months ago? she finally fits into them NOW ha ha. (she trained at 27 months and is now 35 months old, wow, she's been trained 7 - 8 months now).

God i wish i had an excuse to buy MCN!

I too use a monkey doodlez swimming nappy.
Rthya I will take you up on the offer , I am not a great sewer either but would be a laugh anyway. I am sure you would be able to teach me a thing or too.
We are finally back in our mcn's after having a not so nice reaction to antibiotics that stained some of my fluff

Maz - were they the GF Nappy Knickers on Vy? I ordered a Pink Ai2 Windpro Fleece Pair of the Med Knicker Nappies to trial on DD to see if I want to use these when the time comes to upgrade to a larger size for Elly exp as will hopefully have 2 (and only 2 - Bimboo has me slightly worried now ) in cloth so can justify buying a little stash of larges for later.

Does anyone use swim nappies? I have a Imse Vimse one I bought for DD but was suprised it was just a little plasticy underpants type thing - are they all like that?
YES they certainly were and I love them!!!!! they rock hon and you wont be disapointed at all. If you want I'll keep my eye's peeled for any that pop up secondhand around the traps.

Swim nappy....they really are just there to contain an accidental pooh hon. We used a pocket nappy up in QLD and Im spewing now cause I really should have let him freeball in the surf for some pics but here's a pic of him in it
Mateauz being a beach bum at Surfers

Hope everyone is well and not to cold...im freezing and thats saying alot with the extra layer of fat winter has grown on me

Ive got a few auriels that im expecting but sadly I think thats about it nappy wise for us I so wish I has a newborn again......

think it was the way daddy put it on. she will be out of the nappies rise-wise before weight, but they are sitting ok when i put them on...

gah - so tooo tired to be posting, just lost a big one

But the gist of it was, I have just got home from my first trip using MCN's. DH helped pack nappies (way too many) and the bucket, and just got home and washed them all. Soo easy - it was a trial run for the 2 weeks we're away at christmas.

Tan - pm me and let me know what day is good for you.

WOGB - BBH with woollen cover, all snuggled up in bed.
