Fluffy mail today so waiting anxiously for my prewashing to finish. Got 2 bumwear pockets but I don't know if I trust them as they seem really light weight. Anyone else used these? Will give them a go but might have to invest in some boosters.
My Cushie Tushies seconds off ebay due tomorrow or fri at least i hope they come so i don't have to wait til mon and struggle to dry them in 17 degrees. Storms forcasted this arvo/tomorrow so hoping nappies dry inside. fri going to be 31 and sunny so good drying day!
BG - I do have moo goo, I was using it with the sposies and it got rid of the NR she had whilst in hospital but I think this rash is beyond what moo goo can help with... I put moo goo on yesterday and it improved but didn't go totally. I am thinking once it gets a bit less inflamed then I will start with the moo goo again.
Speaking of rashes, Miss M has the WORST nappy rash I have ever seen, it looks like chicken pox its that bad, sooo many blisters - its really quite.. well.. gross. I've been treating it with moogoo during the day at every nappy change, and then I've been using sudocream and liners at night. Have no idea if I should take her to the doc or whatever, I've never seen it this bad. Bloody eye teeth.
Hi all!
well its been a while since I've been in here...with lil Susie taking up so much time I dont have much of an opportunity to get on here any more!
I do have need of your expertise though...Susie's getting too big for her prefolds so we're moving on in the world. have bought a couple of things to try. The first thing we have tried on her is a Bitti D'lish Snap in One in Medium. its gorgeous! looks so trim and seems lovely for her in the crotch area...but...we got major wing droop..no matter what I did with the snaps, I tried a few different positions doing them up, and it would fit good around the legs and around the waist until a few minutes later and at least one of the wings has fully drooped out. so my question is..is this just a size thing? if I wait another month or so is it likely to fit her better then? is there something else I can do to make it sit better?
we have a few others to try, bought a Cushie Tushies (only cause it was a good price, bit exy for us to buy a whole range of them lol), and also a couple of Haute Pockets just to start to get a feel for what we like before the expo end of next week where we hope to pick up some good bargains!
Beck - try doing the outside snap up first, and then bringing the wing across the front to where you need it. You might get a bit of bunching but might stop the wing droop. Might - it never worked with my kids, the only thing that solved it was extra snaps being put on.
