has anyone got any ideas as to how to soften bamboo again? I've got some GK and IB inserts that are as stiff as and need to be softened so that they are fold-able/mould-able to DS's butt again.

Hi ladies, thanks so much for the response about the creams. Is the yellow paw paw cream you are talking about called "Paw Paw Salve?" The container is mostly yellow with green writing on it. I was sort of looking for an exact yellow version of the red but can't find it.

For those of you who use Moo Goo - which one do you use? I found this at the health shop (yay!) but there was about 3 different types.

The ingredients of the Gaia skin soothing lotion are: demineralised water, vegetable oil, grape seed oil, organic shea butter, caster oil, beeswax, organic wheat germ oil, zinc oxide, organic calendula extract, organic chamomile extract, organic avocado oil, organic evening primrose oil, sodium hydromethylglycinate (amino acid), essential oils of organic lavender, organic sweet organge, organic chamomile, limonene and linalool.

Would this Gaia cream be okay to use with cloth nappies?

Thanks in advance for all your wonderful help - I am slowly learning and both DH and I are so keen to use cloth nappies. We have such a stash now - I think I am addicted!!!

Hi Starangelk - I dunno about the beeswax, you'd have to see if the cream rubbed into the skin. If its like a moisturing cream that just rubs in, it should be ok. If its like a paste that sits on top of the skin - its not ok.

i would say not starangelk coz it has zinc oxide in it thats the stuff in other creams that isnt safe to use on cloth but it is the right paw paw ointment there is one in a black tube too a different brand and yep its the msm soothing cream like mel said

i bought 10 iishfly prefolds yesterday i got half pink and blue and i thought oh well if i have a boy their covered by covers anyway lol hopefully i can get some more while their still cheap lol
