I'm seriously loving this twinklky lily wool cover... DS had it on for 3 hours (went to the dr then he fell asleep in the car and slept for an hour and a half) and no leaks, not even damp, but the terry flat was sopping ><; Best invention ever, that sheep wool

well! I'm still not 100% sure, but a friend of mine says she uses 100% lanolin nipple cream (like, marcallen, or lanosomethingelse... Lansinoh!) desolves a small amount in some warm water (the size of a peanut) and then soaks the cover in there for half hour or so then dry flat. She makes her own and uses BBh ones...
i would think if you bought them new and haven't used them yet they should be lanolised... the twinkle lily one was

    Can you get it reissued?

DD was streaking after the bath tonight for a good 40mins and then she goes quiet and disappears.... I found her on the potty *sigh* looks like she's ready to move out of fluff soon! She did a big wee and strutted around quite proud of herself afterwards! Another note is the little squirt paid for itself AGAIN tonight. Damn the increased sense of smell in pregnancy. She made me turn green rinsing that effort off!

WOCB: Onto sposies again. Given she drank about 1 1/2 litres of water before bed the night nappy wouldn't have held up!

Nah, CL. I don't have to go anywhere til Wednesday now, so I'll wait. He did say it'd take about 10 days, but thought there was no way it'd actually take that long. Of course, he didn't take into account the christmas mail slowing everything down!

Glad you're feeling better Skybie. I been feeling off the last few days again, but not sick. I hate it. I start feeling like I'm getting the flu, but don't actually get it. Just the headaches, muscle aches sore throat & everything that goes with it & it hangs around alot longer than it would if I got just got the flu good & proper! Oh well, least I can still function.

Moomoo is finally awake after 12 hours! Went down at 8.30ish last night, woke at about 5.30am for half a feed & is up again now at 8.30. Hmmm looks like she either puked & slept in it, or her dry skin has attacked the side of her head. Will bath her soon & see I guess. Poor bubba has eczema almost covering her back. Have to bath her in olive oil 3 times a day to keep up with the dryness & I was out all day yesterday, so its probably back today

    How I love school holidays

Hey Mel, am I over sensitive, or do wool soakers always feel itchy? I've used one of them, but they're still a bit big yet. I feel mean outting them on her, coz I can't wear anything that feels like that! Am I just sad?

WOSB - Still daddle doo & jamtots (i think) cover.

Okay, I have a wool cover but am ashamed to admit I hadn't used it because I was confused about the whole lanolising thing. It is probably a good cover to use over my night nappies in summer right? So just to confirm, if I buy the spray is it as easy as just spraying the nappy, letting it dry and use as normal?
