    hi everyone!
after all my mums going on on the phone, "ill just stick with the disposables, that sounds more confusing thenthe cloth 23 years ago i had YOU in" she came over, asked me to show her what i was on about, so i gave her a quick crash-course! (just basic explination) and when dd woke up, as i was having a shower, i told her were the (now emergencey) disposables were, well, she figured it out on her own, and had dd all changed and dry in a mcn!! with out any help! so good shes not only doing her best to get along, but also trying things my way!!! oh, and DF went to change one yesterday! but shed done no2, so he told me its all mine.... (since who changes it has to dispose of it, he cant bring himself to it yet!! )

quick question: it seems dd is becoming more relaxed in her poo's and there getting prety messy, what sort of liners are the best for a quick clean up? and dont effect the fit

I just used the disposable home brand ones from woolies but if DD had only done wee I put the liner through the wash with the nappy. They shrunk a little but by no means were unusable. I could wash them 3-4 times before they went holey.

DP is ace on MCN and can put them together. My brother in-law won't put one on his son, he refuses so only my sister uses them there. Some people are so stubborn.

Everyone I have shown is impressed with the MCNs. People at playgroup said "doesn't she get nappy rash?" but then I pulled one out and showed them the stay dry liner and such. I think they were dtsgusted when I said you don't bleach them until I explained the antibacterial properties in the bamboo. The nappy I was demoing was one of my older ones and I showed them how it had no stains and it had probably been crapped in 30 odd times I asked if they were shocked they should sniff it and there was no smell which all their jaws dropped One has been converted and as soon as her very prem bub hits 3ish kilos then she's stocking up!

My DH helps me at stockings He even asked me to replace Laa's full stash with Beetlebums pockets Can't say no to such a request LOL!!

I can't remember the name of the liners I use, I bought a pack of 100 when Laa was tiny and it's still pretty much full, I found them rather useless TBH. Solid poo just falls of the nappy anyway and softer stuff (gosh I love what we talk about in this forum PMSL) tends to leave marks which all wash out in time anyway...........

Waiting on fluff - 3 more Auriels for Ameika, a couple of BB night nappies for her and a couple of BB ISO's for Matisse

now, which order will I put them in today? :P

WOAB - lushie - thirsties PUL cover
WOMB - Beetlebums rainbow/heart applique pocket (thanks to Miss Raven, even further back thanks to Miss Gigi). There you go ladies - this nappy has served 2 other little girls and is still in perfect condition. I bet it will still be "selllable" even after servicing my two little ones. All hail cloth!!! (well made cloth that is)

    Ow my head
Kids are playing up, Summer's having horrible unsettled screaming moments & eczema flair ups. Poor Jesse just came screaming out here with a bleeding fat lip, coz Bri poked him in the bum with something making him jump forward hitting his mouth, putting his tooth through his lip
    I really don't like holidays!!!

Expecting the ILs any minute. Including DH's nan. Looking forward to it

Didn't get the chance before to say my mum loves the fluff as much as I do Uses it all & wants to know everything about it. We were all cloth babies too.

WOSB - Kawazakee skulls & hearts.

Got a question for you cloth nappying experts... I have some eenees microfibre prefolds which I nev er use as its too much faffing around having to put a liner between the microfibre and babys bot. Can I use them as cleaning cloths? Are the microfibre cleaning cloths at the shops just the same stuff?

WOFB: bambineo fitted and PUL cover
