I had some microfibre inserts for nappies that I think work better to clean mirrors Meow. I am pretty sure it's the same stuff just woven differently. I always use rubber gloves while handling the cloths though because they kill your hands. I have been feeling soooooooooooo queasy all day and had to sneakily hurl at playgroup. The smell of buttered popcorn apparently triggeres morning sickness... It has been raining all day so lucky I didn't put a fluff load on. The abby gro where I shattered the snap is en route back too so I am expecting old but new fluffy mail :P

Got a question for you cloth nappying experts... I have some eenees microfibre prefolds which I nev er use as its too much faffing around having to put a liner between the microfibre and babys bot. Can I use them as cleaning cloths? Are the microfibre cleaning cloths at the shops just the same stuff?

WOFB: bambineo fitted and PUL cover
Yup. In fact, if you like microfibre inserts (yuck lol) you can buy cheap cleaning cloths and cut them up into boosters!!

Triple J - I am doing the same thing, putting all the NB stuff away already She is only 6 weeks old! Or should I say already? Her current stash is

    12 lushies
    12 Auriels (3 OTW)
    6 widdlewuns
    6 SS! Fitteds

Though I have to admit at the moment things are drying in 1 day so I do have plenty. Apart from all that rain last week, nappies were still taking 2 days. She is going through around 8 nappies a day. Laa went through around 12 at this age.

WOMB - Daddy currently changing her from circles/hot pink BB mashup into BB wooly night
    WOAB - Lushie/Thirsties cover

WONB: Kissaluv and blue Bummis cover. Bout to change her though, hmmmmm....

Oh, yeah, got the BBH petite down to $5 a wear. DH calls it "that weird green one"

Ok ladies I have a situation.

Ds is on ABs as he has tonsillitis. He's on the mend now but the ABs are giving him the most horrible runny poos ever and they have stained my TL wool cover, flat and a couple of boosters. Any idea how I can get it out? Needless to say we are is sposies and his poor little butt is so red raw, he cries when I wipe it

Haven't tried yet. It's a pretty hard core stain tho.
    Can you strip wash wool?

no, because a strip wash is a hot wash, it'd shrink. Try a bit of napisan paste on it. That might just do the trick. Make sure you wash in cold or they'll become doll's soakers

DD smells like poo! That is all

lol, thanks Melbel. Sorry Helle I went to reply but DD started being a pain in the rear. If you make the paste thick enough then you can just dab it on the areas where it is really needed.

Sorry Helle, didn't think of the wool!

Welcome back Kaz Summer was in cloth in hossy too, til she had her final gp checkup & the mw put a sposie on her to go home. I didn't think to take any with me for that!
    I used theirs.
I use mostly sposie wipes though... they are easier than going to the bathroom/kitchen every time. I dunno, the 4 kids & no time might just be an excuse, but it'll do me for now, lol!

Coffs to finish the christmas shopping today. Hectic!

WOSB - Daddle doo night nappy & jam tots pul cover (i really need more fleece ones!!)

We used cotton wool pads with water as wipes for the first few weeks- so that's disposable! Kept using the cloth wipes for our older boy- it was just easier to cart the cotton wool around than hunt out cloth wipes all the time. Now Im a little more organised we're using the cloth wipes for both of them. No disposable nappies so far

There is alot of newborn cloth going on in here at the moment- yay!!
