I have been having some issues with my beloved Widdlewuns
After no problems what so ever we are now having leakage all the time.

I have done strip washes but I think her shape is changing again so that may be the problem. Its between her legs that the majority of leaking is.
She is crawling now too so maybe those chunky thighs I love to squish are thinning out.
I hope not because I love WW. Anyone suggestions??

Also how do you ladies with a front loader do your strip washes? My machine doesnt have a soak option so I just turn it off when it is full and leave it for a while.

I would diiiiiiiiie without nappy free time. I even did it on the flight home from Melbs yesterday. Speaking of Melbs, I am so annoyed that we left a wet nappy behind - of course it had to be the CTBD, our favourite! Bummed. Will make the ILs wash and post. It'll be like fluffy mail, but we already own it!

I do have a girly pretty Bonnibuns print on the way. Have to try *very* hard not to spend the flood money on girly nappies.

WONB: Blue Itti. And a white muslin wrap. And she is in her cot. Self settled. To sleep. Booya.

I have never done a strip wash. I have never needed to, but just recently some of our nappies are starting to leak through the sides even when they are fresh on the bum, and it's not a fit issue. So, I might have to do this strip wash business. Has always sounded like a complete PITA to me though!!!

WW rock Feijoa - do you have the front velcro style or side snaps?

you just need to lanolise it. there are a few ways to do it. either put a small drop of lanolin in a bucket of water and let it soak for a couple of hours or you can get some spray on lanolin. depends on which way you want to go really

Kitt3n we have side snaps here.
I have 7 WW's (love them much?) and am always too slow when she puts up custom spots. Not that we actually need any at the moment.
Although I have to say im not a fan of the one only rule now. I liked getting the three of them at a time but I understand the need for everyone to be able to try them.

May have to sneak on over and have a look at BBH though.

HAHA!!! finaly a sale you cant tempt me with!!! im realy not a fan of bbh, ive got 2 majicalls i use with dd (one is MIA tho) and 2 for new bub, but thats it, ant there used as a last option only!
is anyone a fan of ninky bots on fb? im thinking of unliking it, they started on about how they are so worried about people useing the eco wash as it has bicarb in it and only rng should be used, sounded alot like scare tactics to me! then in the same post said how they sell it and its the best thing out!
thinking of getting some prefolds for bub, but not compleatly sold on them...

sarah, the petites are a completely different fit to the magicalls..... COMPLETELY. I had a couple of them in medium for miss m and they were a little too small, should have gone for a large - they would have been pretty great if i had just bought the right size!

I love WW too Since I started using her nappies she has become so amazingly popular! Christie is mega nice to deal with too

    Hey girls

We now only have one in nappies. First time since dd2 was born. DD2 is night training herself, she has done about a week with no nappy. every now and then she asks for one when she wants to be a baby but can take herself to the loo during the night without a problem.

We have just gone back to cloth post move, and DD3 is happy with it. She has learned to say 'poooooo' and 'mappy' and grabs her nappy when we ask her if she has done a wee. I think she will TT in the not too distant future, probably not long after her birthday.

WOLB: No idea, DH changed her. Possibly a white Itti in Large

What is the issue with bicarb? I've heard loads of nappy makers suggest bi-carb.... I detest when people slander products to promite their's

I found RnG to be horrible and I will never, ever use that on my nappies again. Eco store all the way here (and just to add, as I mentioned above, i have NEVER needed to do a strip wash and i have pretty much always used ecostore. never had any elastic or any other issues for that matter.) I agree with CL, sounds like they are just trying to promote their own product and that is just BS!!!!!!

I meant in my last post that the petites are pretty good Sarah, not that they are bad!! Probably one of the best manufactured (not WAHM) nappies around. And at the current special of $15 you can't go past them if you need to upgrade/increase your stash.

Hey ali, yay for cutting back down to one in cloth!!!

eco store and RG pretty much have exactly the same ingredients

    RG
sodium carbonate , sodium percarbonate, natural chelating agents, sodium sulfate, bio-degradable surfactants, fragrance oils

    ES
silicates and carbonates (mineral salts), citrate, cellulose, sodium percarbonate and natural lemon verbena oil.

my nappies are all fine (except for the CT's...) and that's all i ever used on them... thought they needed a strip when they got stiff but i was wrong! so to this day mine haven't had a strip wash either (well, 5 or 6 have but the other off 20 haven't!)
