you can wash nappies at my place in canberra on the thursday night/friday if you want
good point CL
have just been having "issues" with hubby with how we should pack the car. i don't want to pack clothes or nappies into anything until i know what space we have. he has a "we'll be right" attitude. i just told him to pack what bags he though we'd fit in the boot. let's just say he was surprised at how much room a pram and a portacot take up! i have now rearranged it all and left us with heaps of space. but he no longer has the same attitude - now i think he's scared to suggest anything lol i think a bucket/tub would be a bit outside of what room we have available at the moment anyway...

that's massively generous Kitten! i think we'll be right on the thursday but may take you up on it for the friday evening - are you out Belco end?
The wetbags really have more squishability too and also no wasted space because you can roll them up to the size of the contents. Buckets are a set size whether you have 1 or 21 nappies in. Even maybe hang a wetbag from one of the hook things inside the doors too? Where people hang drycleaning... I am so brain dead today![]()
yep 5 minutes from Belconnen
cool - will see how we're travelling - will know by friday meet up if we have a washing machine in the apartment
We are going away around the same time BG. Heading down to Sydney for a funeral Tuesday or Wednesday. Every other trip we've done I've done sposies, but I just gave them all to Barney yesterday for her DD, coz they weren't gonna get used here. I'm not buying more, its pointless, they go to waste!
We have a wagon & I'll just stick the nappy tub in the back. Only taking Summer with us, makes it alot easier. More space. I might put my nappy bucket in, with my wet bag. But I only have one bag, so bucket it is. Alot easier with the space of a wagon though!
Nappies are on a heavy duty, eco store stain remover wash. Summer had the flu & was all choked up, must've been going straight through her. Poo, poo & more poo! Praying we have sun tomorrow... though I like snuggling with my babies in bed & listening to the rain too
DS's had his turn & now its mineFeel like crap.
WOSB - um.... oh, leopard print MAL night!
Clover hope summer is feeling better!!
So... fluffy mail for me today. my BBH NN.... any tips? It's in the wash now (don't think i'll get to use it tonight) Planning on using a wool cover... d'you think that'll do the trick? Not keen on PUL, especially when it's gonna be on for alot longer.
aaaand, does a MAL NN need a cover?
WOJB Red tutto
Helle, I don't use covers on my MAL nights. Heavier wetters might need one, but we don't.
I try to use fleece covers only over night. or a wool soaker.
Here it is... the nightly poo! She can go to bed soon.
Sydney tomorrow... scary... I hate city driving!
WOSB - half full daddledoo, about to be daddledoo night & wool soaker.
BBH NN with TL Wool cover is in motion... FX!
Anyone noticed that everyone is selling their BBH magicals on the FB page?
WOJB BBH NN with TL Wool cover. Ch'yeah, cos i can do that now ><;
Which MCN page helle? Can you shoot me a message with link through FB please? All i see on one is legwarmers and clothes. I think the fans got a bit off topic
Finally found a night combo that works for ds!! I got some issy bear inserts for half price so insm using two night inserts in a minky pocket and it worked, it survived a bottle and a poo, will try all three tonight.
I think I have to sell or swap my tutto's ob mcn as they just leak on both Ds and dd.

WOJB sposies at daycare
Guess what - I found nappies that I had forgotten I bought! WOohoo! It's like fluffy mail that is prepaid and here right now![]()
helle - i am not sure. i am pretty sure i have read somewhere that u can tho. not 100% on that one tho
You can use polar fleece as long as it's 100% polyester. Microfleece is better because it doesn't pill though.
HTH!
Nappy news: My darling younger sister got 3 metres of nappy flannelette for me! I'm gonna be busy soon hemming some flates. I think it was $3 a mtr and wide enough to make 4 per metre by the time I hemmed them! That's 12 flats for $9 so not bad!
