someone earlier today said there should be a disclaimer at the start of the thread re MCNs, people should be warned that it may not stay at MCNs -

    there's the cloth wipes -
I have some but don't use them much - my excuse it was too cold when we started and I couldn't be bothered working out how to dampen them at the changetable)

    cloth BPs -
now I'm SOOOO addicted to Maz's BPs - got my pot of gold biggens in the mail today - soo need to have another bub so they can actually catch BM drips I'm still wearing them just in case as I have started to reduce expresses while at work and only doing so when I get home (new workplace and haven't sorted out a spot to express)

    and cloth pads -
just starting to find out about these - NICE! - got a pink bits in the mail too today

I'm sure there's more cloth stuff that I'm yet to find out about that I can get addicted to

just to keep it cloth (nappy) related

WOBB - lilac itti soon to be a GF night nappy

I just passed all my cloth breast pads on. To Skybie
Now I feel horrible that they are going to arrive in the mail, all bright & colourful. Wish I could ring AP & stop them...

Clover, unfortunately no one can predict these things are going to happen. Not even Skye, otherwise she wouldn't have arrange for them. Don't feel horrible, it's no ones fault. What you did was out of sheer kindness and I'm sure Skye will still appreciate them at some point still

    What happened to Skye?

Fluff load on Mum was about to put the wash on and DP says "I don't know if you want to do that the nappies are precious and need to be washed a special way" He said it with utter sarcasm

clover - I feel for skybie getting that package too. But you know what? She'll get it, she'll have an[other] enormous cry, but it might just also serve as a reminder of all the love she's got right here.

Ergh... my MIL soaked my nappies at every chance when we were in Melbs.

I use cloth wipes exclusively. On the top shelf of my change table I have a box with about 50 face washers, and a large resealable container. In the container I have water and some Ecostore baby wash. I just dampen the wipes as required. i used to put 4 or 5 wipes in the container at a time, but we don't need them all that often so they were getting a bit manky. The Ecostore baby wash is ace though - not too soapy, and smells amazing, can overpower any yucky nappy bin smells.

Today was poo day. Day 9. A little splurt on her Bubblebubs AIO alerted me to the forthcoming explosion, and then I caght the rest a bit later on prefolds.

Amber arrived yesterday, needles today. I cried as much as she did... maz wipes are ace for wiping that up.

    Hi Ladies,

I am a bit out of the loop with the new and exciting night nappies around, I have BBH, GK, Pop Ins and some fantastic no name ones that I picked up from an op shop for $2! and I desperately need to throw some out and buy some new.

I love my Pop Ins but the bamboo has just fallen apart, they have not lasted long enough for me to spend my money on buying them again.
I don't like the BBH's, they pretty much just sit in the bottom of my basket as they cut into both my girls legs. Same with Wild Child nappies, they just don't fit around the legs, so no suggestions for this style please
GK's are good absorbancy wise however they need a cover as both my girls magically wee out the sides as there are no gussets. I am more than happy to use a cover and I like the GK's I just wonder if there is a better fitted nappy option?
My no name op shop bargains are my favorite, but I have no idea what they actually are they don't need a cover and they have gussets that do not dig in, the gusset is elastic which is on the exterior fabrics compared to the BBH's which is a big bunch of bamboo waves overlocked together (if that makes sense)

So, I know I am a PITA but do I have any hope? Can you suggest some new NN's for me?

DD- what inserts are you using in your GK of a night time? Best night nappies that worked here were nicnaps, genesa forge super super trims and fluffy bubs. Christie from widdlewuns is making me some custom night nappies which are pockets, so I'll let you know how they go

I have a combination of micro, bamboo and hemp, they are fine if I have a cover but somehow they wee out the side I only have two of these and I will keep using them but the rest of my NN stash is pretty poor these days.
I have just ordered a NN from Maz to try and also picked up some Bettlebums from Kitt3n (thanks ladies )

I'm only using Mazalicious night nappies for Summer. Have 3 of those & 2 daddledoo's.
The MAL's don't need covers (for us), her new style is narrower in the crotch & higher in the legs than her older ones.
She has custom spots going up at the moment.
There is no PUL in them, they are minky & pretty
Also, they contain pooplosions! (Again, for us... I know all fits & kids are different, but these are truly awesome!)

I love them & can't wait til I can get some more!!!

ETA - DD just read your last post! Sorry!! I think you'll love it!

That just reminded me clover! PM me if you're still interested

WOAB: sposie. He's got terrible nappy rash (from worlds most chuck-worthy poo) so is positively lathered in cream.

Hrmmmm... Might have to give a maz NN a try I reckon. I ordered a BBH. Just waiting for the damn thing to get here.

Ok I'm putting in a maz order! What size? DS is 10kgs... Large or med?

Waist for L days 62cm? That's massive? Or am I doing it wrong? I think he'd fit a small....

Archie still fits in a small at 9kg (he us quite petite though) but if I was buying for him i'd go medium.

They are quite big, I found. The medium does right up on him with no snaps free!
