blergh! night nappy smell is repulsive! Don't think there is anything you can do to stop it smelling unfortunately. I used one on DD for the first time in 2 months last night and she leaked at about 7am just before dp was going to change her. Because she's less restless of a night now she doesn't wee as much (and we're getting more sleep ).

I actually find it's worse is a sposie, the smell. But jack cannot outpee a maz NN at the moment so I leave the cover off... Maybe the fact that it breaths is why it doesn't smell?

O.M.G ladies, check your local council's site, df just found out our council offer a rebate on cloth nappy purchases, as long as you have orig recipts!
funny thing is, i just chucked my itti recipts out

makes the need to purchase oh so much harder to resist.....

Listed SIL's nappies on the FB site, then realised how public it is and she has probably seen it. Oh well. They're not selling anyway. Boo.

DH is devo'd that we are selling ittis, especially the ivory one, he has a thing for ivory minky, it would seem! But we have so much other lovely fluff, I really need to de-stash, hardcore.

That is really ****ing awesome! About bloody time the councils bring more awareness to environment and waste!! We literally have 4 grocery bags maximum worth of rubbish a week from our house! It makes me damn proud

I meant night nappy as in any nappy that DD wears overnight whether it's sposie or cloth. I can always smell when she's teething when I first enter her room in the morning. DD does power wee heaps because she drinks at least a litre of water before bed and during the night. It's hit and miss clothing her bum of a night and as it is we have to buy the size rated for the bracket above her weight with sposies. sometimes even they push it regarding capacity!

oh so it's like a competition to encourage cloth nappy buying! I checked mine and there isn't any rebate!

none on mine either POO! I was going to use it as an excuse to get more nappies for baking bub. A friend is a BBH rep so I'm buying multifits and sneaking them past DP lol! BBH have an awesome saving off the multifits right now too. any excuse ay?

sorry to get your hopes up ladies, i did read more on it and its luck of the draw if your selected to win it, but is df is now up for me spending the $$ on new ones soon so wont have to sugar coat buying them like i was planing on after all!
health nurse loves the nappies, its requested i leave her in her nappy during the strip-off for the check, so lee (the mchn) can change it! she got a big poosplosion today

My CHN is skeptical. She always grills me as to whether they draw moisture away or not and to be careful of nappy rash. DS has never had a rash in cloth, it's way we switch in the first place!

CL, you said you ordered some precinct from maz? I was thinking of getting some... Maybe. But I've never used them before. What is so good about them? And how much are they? XP

Just had a GF leak a little out the side! I am stunned, they're my favourite. I did put it on a little more loosely than usual though..Still, a surprise.
